Thanks I have a question where the Na ion comes to membrane and if it moves inside for elecropositivity then after repolarization where it disappeared and same the same question for K from where it comes and why it moves out instead of Na... I know that Na and K is present in body but which organelles or part gives to membrane? Thanks

mam please tell me in depth about action potential how it is going from minus 55 to plus 45
@sahilaanandan1862
@sahilaanandan1862 5 жыл бұрын
Due to openingof sodium channel so sodium goes inside from outside so negative charge decreases ,inside it goes_55to + 45 due to entry of sodium ions ie action potential.

I didn't understand a thing in the end. When the charges shift along the axon, the position of K+ on outer side is already taken up by Na+, which previously was attracted by the negative charge. How is it possible that potassium replaces the positive charge?
