6:26 The lore is way deeper than in many other games people just dont know about the lore cuz its not given to them on a silver platter. You must do side quests, read item dicriptions and books etc. To get the full story and theories for the future.

Honestly you don't really need to look through every single nook and cranny to enjoy the lore. It's really time consuming and not everyone has that much time on their hands. The main story line is interesting enough that you don't need to read every item description in the game. Sure they give you some snippets but it's just that. Archon quests and the main side quests of the region are completely enough to immerse yourself.

For the harbingers: Arlecchino and Childe and technically Wanderer/Scaramouche are the only playable harbingers in game at the moment. Dottore, Arlecchino, Childe, Signora, Wanderer, and Capitano are the only Harbingers with official in-game models. (You’ll learn what happens with Signora and Scara in the game so I’m not spoiling anything)

Usually the reason why animated shorts and cinematics look like they have a much higher quality is because it's a lot easier to allocate the budget/time for a smaller production. Something like a full show needs to fight a lot harder for a larger budget, so they end up having to cut a lot more corners if they can't secure said budget or time. Knowing HoYo and Ufotable tho, if they do release an anime it'll definitely have the budget!

Can you PLEASE watch the fan animated Genshin videos from Hamelin? There's 3 big ones, the "Tales of the Fatui" "Light in Abyss" and "Unawakened Dream". As far as i know they were made in collaboration with hoyoverse and they're based on in-game lore, but the animations themselves are not canon and are just simply an artists interpretation of the lore. They're great nonetheless and worth a watch (the music and animation is really good)

Some characters that appear in the shorts that have not appeared in the demos are actually from version 1.0. Not every character got their own demo at launch, I can think of 13 that haven't got anything: Sucrose, Noelle, Amber, Lisa, Jean, Diluc, Bennett, Razor, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Ningguang and Beidou. Amber was namedropped in Collei's demo and shown in Eula's, Beidou appeared both in Kazuha's demo and teaser, also both Diluc and Ningguang appeared in the Travail trailer (1:31 and 1:46) The only non-limited 1.0 characters that got any sort of video are Fischl (only Chinese demo), Kaeya, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi and Xiangling.

@2:58- To answer your question, yes, Hoyo had the WHOLE main story laid out. As a writer, you HAVE to, especially when there are plot twists involved so you can foreshadow things properly. Also, the two chars featured in the Prologue and Ch. 1, yes neither of them got demos. I mentioned that in a comment in your Char demo reactions. @3:59- None of the Gods appear here, so yeah that's not the God of War, she's just a char that appears in the main story. One thing ALL of these chars that have in common is they are all playable. @16:57- Risky watching this one, but I will say this, I recommend rewatching this after a certain point in the main story. I'll try to remember to remind you. It's okay if this totally confused you. This video got shadowed dropped on us in the Summer a few years back and we all were flabbergasted. We don't know if ALL of these chars will be playable. The only ones that are playable so far from the chars here are Childe and Arlecchino. @31:15- HAHAHAHA, you're not the only one to go crazy over a few chars in this trailer lol. This is the Natlan teaser where we do see most of the Natlan chars lol. Oh, you were wondering how far into the story we are now, Natlan is the 5th chapter. Next year we get Snezhnaya, the 6th Chapter. In that first trailer, they showed Khaenri'ah to the 'last one' but wouldn't mention which chapter it was, so for all we know there could still be chapters in between, but we'll see. As far as the Anime is concerned, I've heard people say that the one Anime Studio probably wants to finish Demon Slayer first before fully committing to another huge project. Also the other day I saw theory video that another reason why it's not out yet is maybe to also wait for the FULL main story to release because it's obvious the anime can't have EVERYTHING about Genshin included. Certain content (chars included) will not be involved.

Arlecchino is everyones daddy and if it wasnt clear. She calls herself Father to dofferentiate herself from the cruelty of the prior Mother. She acts and says shes cold and unfeeling and acts like it a lot but in reality you dont fuck with Daddy's children. She has killed before and will kill again in the name of every child in her care. Most based Harbinger and one of the only women in genshin to wear not only pants but also a suit.

Not all characters have trailers, since they either were part of the game, back when they didn't make trailers for them, or they haven't been released yet. I hope that helped you understand.
