I was in Pakistan for 2 years just came back to London this March. The scene where they showed mazdoor was so emotional and to the point. What a beautifully made drama. The message of the need of education in less developed areas as well as the need for reducing the hold of the feudals is definitely an important one. Loved all the performances, though Karamat Bhai seemed a bit OTT. The use of local talent and pahari (I'm assuming) language has made everything more authentic. The first scene reminded me a bit of Sabaat and I'm really hoping that Neem turns out to be just as good. Strong female characters whose life doesn't revolve around how, when and whom to get married (to) are always a welcome change. Zimal seemed kind of a Mary Sue but Mawra is such a natural actor that it didn't seem forced. I loved that one scene with Arsalan Naseer as well. Neem has defi hooked me.
