As I was listening to this today again.. I remembered the story behind how these recordings happened. It was no doubt Guru Maharaj's will that we find these (for whatever reason). But I just feel happy to listen to his voice. I will quickly narrate the story. Babaji never liked being recorded (audio or video). He was particular about not being recorded. An American sought to record his voice and the little sessions he would have with his devotees. But Maharaj ji didn't oblige. So one day he decided to record secretly... And did it bit by bit over a few days but Maharaj ji was aware. That man would later recall that he was called by Maharaj and that he pulled his beard and lifted a finger and shook it repeatedly. Never mentioned anything. And the next day the bag in which the tape recorder and the tape were kept got stolen. He searched but never found. He realised that it was because he recorded the sessions against maharaj's Will. He felt sad but silently felt sorry in his mind. After a few weeks, some hippies who came to the ashram had found a bag in the forest. Everything that was in the bag was gone except for the recorder with the tape. He played and found everything that was recorded to be intact. Somehow babaji decided that it was OK this one time to let the recording happen. But he also taught the necessary lesson to that man and to everyone else. Never test the Guru. Never test God. Always obey. Always follow instructions without question. Whatever you are told to do, in that lies your redemption. Jai Guru Dev. Note: so we are listening to that man secretly record this and think.. "babaji will never know". Hahaha. Thanks to that man's rebellious nature and thanks to babaji's forgiving nature.. We have these recordings. Love. Serve. Remember.

It almost doesn't matter what he's saying in this audio clip, without understanding the words the LOVE is still palpable. What a treat it would have been to sit at his feet and soak up all that LOVE.
