I don't know why Assam has introduced so many quotas this year. They have also reduced ews seats. Just imagine that a guy who have studied in govt seat quota scored 498 and he/she got a mbbs seat and someone scoring 590+ or 600+ has no chance of getting a mbbs seat. For others categories also, there seats has not been drastically affected by this new quotas expect for ews and generals. I thought that this year Assam govt would do something for those students who scored well by increasing ews seats and decreasing seats for nri quota students and so on but instead unexpected stuffs happened. How confidently can one take another drop and prepare once more the the next year?

Exactly my point bro.. being born with the tag of general UR is the biggest curse in life so far. Wtf is happening like seriously!?? Such a shame to the system and it's management. A true aspirant sacrifices everything when it comes to preparing for such national level competitive exams, undergoes extreme pain and stress with the hope that he/she might get a seat with a good rank but such scams and bullshits didn't even let them get hold of a single govt seat ???? It's high time reservation and all such meaningless quotas must be eliminated from the system to ensure that only deserving candidates with proper merit basis to have their genuine seats. After watching all these, how can someone gain enough courage to take a drop and confront the same situation next year!!

The assam govt. should directly announce tht there is no place for general category students in mbbs and any other govt. jobs (exception are the students scoring 680+) other than introducing what not categories. The govt . should announce tht these students must either involve themselves in buisness or jobs releted to farming if they hv their own plot or land
