Yes, up-gradation is allowed once a candidate joins a seat allotted in Round 2 of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ AIIMS/ JIPMER/ Nursing and the candidate will be allowed to vacate the seat of AIQ/Deemed/ Central Universities/AIIMS/JIPMER/ Nursing. However after Round 3, if a candidate is allotteda seat, he/she will not be eligible in Stray Vacancy Round of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ AIIMS/ JIPMER/ Nursing. If a candidate joins a seat, he is not allowed to resign.

Sir if I get Government medical college BARODA on AIQ 1st round report there & submit certificates & then I get BARODA medical college on State quota but I also want upgradation to BJ medical college Ahmedabad ( which would be easier on State quota) what should I do as my certificate are already submitted on AI Counselling! If I want to take BARODA medical college on State quota will I have to take a relieving letter from the college & submit the State quota allotment letter??
