The question at 1:00:09 can be done by an alternative easier method too : - Cv=5, - Cp/Cv=γ, Cp=5γ ---(1) - also Cp-Cv=R, Cp=R+5---(2) - equating (1) and (2) 5γ=R+5, γ=R+5/5 = 8.3+5/5 = 1.66 - Cp=5γ( from 1) Cp= 5*1.6 = 8J/k

Sir, there's a mistake in 46:37 !! The answer is supposed to be either option A or B. I understand that the the Cp and Cv totally look like the one in Mayer's relation , but actually the question didn't mention that they were "gram specific heats". The Cp and Cv that we use in Mayer's relation are actually "molar specific heat" . The question itself is incomplete, as I happened to make the same mistake too ( probably they took uppercase C into account as "gram specific"). I came to know that this was the answer when I checked the answer key!
