Try turning off the flash and turn it back on with the camera in manual mode it should work just fine in TTL

Has your speedlite ever stopped working? I took maybe 20 pictures all together and it stopped flashing. Battery is fine, everything works but flash doesn't work. Also speedlite doesn't recognize the lens propetly and doesn't allow me to change the zoom. Has any of that ever happend to you? Many thanks.

Thank you for the reply. Neewer said it must be a defective Speedlite and offered to send a new one. Shame as it's got great reviews everywhere and it seems like nobody else had the same issue. Must be my bad luck, especially that it died on the evening before the event I am going to shoot. Thanks again and take care. :)
