This is the same as a fulaim. They’re just re-branded. Nothing wrong with that, but they are the same. I did try these. They’re actually a very good Mic. They were not up to what I was needing as most of our videos are done while cycling with two people. I opted for the DJI, which does work better, it also cost much more. For most videos, I would say these would work just fine. Good job on the review.

I have the same set. The only thing I would like is for the windscreen to fit in the box as well and for the transmitter to fit in the box with the Type C connection attached.

This was great, thank you. I make movie and game video essays and I tend to “think aloud” aka basically talking to myself when creating my videos and I wanted something to capture the “in the moment” thoughts so I can use them in the final video. Gonna have to grab these.

only thing I don't like is the transmitters don't have a visual battery level indicator like the receiver does so it's somewhat guesswork if they're charged enough for the project you need to use them for. like if you know you need 2-3 hours recording time you have no idea how fully charged they are

Yes you can, either USB-C or 3.5 mm inputs…. You’ll be working with a single channel of audio for both mics though…. UNLESS you put it in stereo mode… and duplicate the track … use only left on 1 channel and right on the other… haven’t tried that but could work in theory.

I suspect he's referring to your reveal at 2:02. I've had them for a few weeks and think they're great. Key for me I wanted the versatility of internal audio recording storage for use when I can't or don't want to have a receiver directed into the camera

I have a Fulaim X5 = Mailada X5 = Neewer CM28. YES they are identical though you only get the bag with the Neewer. After continuous testing and trials with eq in Lumafusion I'm super happy with it. One thing I've noted is that it's really sensitive to siting. Right in front of your mouth, like you had in your studio, is definitely the best.

I believe you connect the receiver to your computer and it will show up almost like a flash drive. Then you can drag the saved recording onto your device! I hope that helps

I am not for sure on that particular camera but I know in some cameras you have to buy a USB type C to headphone adapter and that's how it works

you're talking directly into the mic in front of you... why not put it on your lapel to see who well it picks up audio from that location I would expect most would use it???

I just purchased these and there are two options when you purchase: 1. With 2 LAV mics 2. Without LAV mics The one WITHOUT LAVs is often on sale but the other not. I’m hoping to try a few different brands of LAV mics to see what works best.
