Do you know how to activate the HSS mode with this flash mounted on a canon eos 60D ? It's written on the flash box that it possible to synch up to 1/8000, but on my camera the mode can't be turned on.

hey there @St Cloud, im afraid it wont - good news is, this flash comes bundled with a receiver and transmitter. i'd recommend slave mode for grouping this flash with other brands' lights.

Okay I’m fairly new to photography but I’m looking for an inexpensive speed light.. my question is can this be used on a stand with the umbrella and triggered that way????? Or only on the hot shoe mount???

Yes, you can remote trigger this flash using the included wireless trigger and receiver. With the appropriate mount, it could be used in various off-camera settings, including light modifiers.

@@robolah iam also starting with flashes. Please correct me if am wrong, in case when we need the flash to be on umbrella and the requirement is to click the picture using a remote then we would need an extra remote as well. Flash receiver and transmitter will trigger the flash on umbrella and an extra remote to trigger the camera itself?

@@chiragbatra1980 that's correct! could also hook the camera up to your phone or PC and trigger remotely that way (using a live tethering software like Lightroom, Capture One, Affinity etc.) without having to use a remote.

I have this flash. Sometimes the bottom half of an image comes out black. I don't know if my shutter isn't quick enough

Hi Fredy, The included wireless trigger can be used to control the flash in any of the 3 modes - so, yes, it will work with TTL :)

Yes, I'd say it works reasonably well, however in challenging low-light environments it tends to get a bit less accurate.
