I appreciate the videos on the RGB1200 and the soft boxes. You made a comment about not using the soft boxes when shooting video. I'm just learning about this so can you please explain that a bit more? I'll be using the RGB1200 for outside interview-style videos so the light panels will be further from the subjects relative to a studio photo shoot. Thanks

@@PairedBestWF at a distance away... And how I record at a distance away the light becomes naturally defused and a softbox reduces light output.when up close a softbox is truly useful to defuse the light evenly. Watch the lighting in my newest videos coming next week. I have the RGB1200 as one of my key lights and no softbox... I only use the defuse filter front included... A defuser would help to soften shadows a bit but I do use a second Molus G60 COB light with a softbox defuser as well.

Which one of these would you suggest to purchase & thank you for this review also.

The one that I mention is far easier to set up is the better one to get if you intend to apply and remove several times. It feels cheaper but it isn't going to damage as fast as the more difficult to install option. If you plan to never remove and leave the softbox on, the one that is more work to install is the better quality. I cannot tell you what model is what without watching the video again because the thumbnail is too small on my phone and I am at a work camp and have to get back to work right now. Most of these review items are 100% out of my pocket cost. Have to work a lot to pay for the equipment

does your square soft box diffuser give off a greenish tone?
@sparkestudio5 ай бұрын
@@SUPERRANDUMBREVIEWS the color is whatever you see shining on me. I tossed both my soft boxes. I use this light for movie making and not in the studio. I bought them so you get the honest truth and to help Neewer to improve their products. I messaged their support department about how to improve the design.

@@SUPERRANDUMBREVIEWS thank you for your question... The only way for me to verify if there is any color change would be to put my rendered video in Davinci Resolve and look on the RGB wave forms and look for color shift. I am not back in the studio till July 4th. I don't work where I live and I am gone for 2 weeks at a time and only back for 6 days.
