Thankyou, always appreciate people who take the time to make this helpful videos. I had the same issue which was caused by a faulty left hand hinge. Very, very helpful. Yes, sooo many people dont know how to calibrate drill clutches. Well done!

Thank you for posting the video chaps ... not at all sure why you have had some thumbs down. I watched the video a couple of times to familiarise myself with the disassembly and assembly, then replaced the left hand rail in 10 minutes, taking plenty of close-up photos when dismantling just to double check what went where. The oven door cost me £30 to repair, I dread to think what it might have cost to get someone out to do it ... I do know a replacement door is best part of £500 ... so thanks again chaps 😀

Looks a great job. I'm doing one of these myself today. The oven side rail broke when my business was cleaning the oven. I was wondering do you know if this is a common fault on the Neff Hide and Slide? The cause on mine looks like the hinge locking pin got stuck when we were trying to take the door off to clean it and the hinge retracted into the oven breaking the side rail. I have had a problem ordering the correct side as the Neff diagrams aren't that clear. Just done the job: In the video he puts the door end metal pieces on the wrong way around - it does say it on the screen but it's not clear. The stainless steel one has the curve for the last piece of glass to fit onto so it needs to be on top. Also I had a a problem lining up the slots for the wire 'stops' to fit into so that the handle operates correctly. Both end pieces need to be in the same position on the bar. If you are doing this I think you need to order some more springs too - as mine stretched out of shape.

This is not the correct procedure, remove bottom clip and remove the glass with no metal clips, then slide out the second piece of glass with metal clips on the glass, this door is designed so they you can clean all the glass without taking the frame apart. It’s all held in place with the bottom clip.

UNTERESTING video the guy doing it made some classic mistakes and ended up putting back together incorrectly although it would work the way he did it he was not a bsh engineer i was 21 years. using an electric drill during assembly is risky you can strip plastic threads and if you drop drill it will probably smash the glass more expense use a hand tool torx 20 also the zinc trim over the ali trim on the handle end of door he fitted it underneath alloy it goes on top thats what the 2 dimples are for to hold it in place also you must keep the glass panels together in one p[lace they only fit one way if you fit them incorrectly they could shatter during oven clean process.

Mr Ex Bosch Engineer if you will pay more attention to the messages coming out on the screen you will maybe see that it was said that the aluminium trim will go first then the stainles steel one . The fact that is used a electric screwdriver is not wrong as long as you know how to use it and it is used with the correct cluctch setting as in the film . The film was made with the costumer who fully trust the engineer and his skills and it was the first time when it was done on a hide and slide oven door , thats why took a bit more time and a bit left handed . Sliding rails were broken and the door was stuck half open with the rollers against the glass. Job was done on site , costumer was supper happy . But dehhh is more easy to throw with stones and mud instead to say congratulation and thank you for your help , or maybe you are loosing money now because people are looking here, doing it and are not calling Mr Bosch Engineer to do it 😅.
