Ingredients
4 medium-sized potatoes
For minced meat mixture;
400 grams of ground meat
3 tablespoons of oil
1 onion
2 green peppers
1 tomato
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 pinch of parsley
1 teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1.5 cups of water (300 ml)
For garnish;
3 sprigs of chopped parsley
Preparation
First, let's cut 4 potatoes that I peeled into circles.
Let's be careful not to cut them too thick so that they can cook easily. On the other hand, let's chop 1 onion, 2 green peppers and 1 tomato for cooking. Finally, let's chop a pinch of parsley finely.
Put the sliced potatoes in hot oil, turn them over and fry them lightly.
We can put the fried potatoes on a plate covered with paper towels to remove excess oil. Let's put 3 tablespoons of oil in a suitable pan. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the heated oil and start frying.
Add 400 gr of minced meat to the pink onions and continue to fry, mashing them with the back of a spoon.
When the minced meat releases and absorbs its water, we can add the peppers we chopped to the pan.
When the peppers lose their crispness a little, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and continue to fry.
Add the tomatoes that I peeled and diced into the pan and mix. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to flavor the minced meat.
Finally, add 1.5 cups of hot water and cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally. After turning off the stove, add the finely chopped parsley and mix, and our minced meat mixture is ready.
First, line up the potatoes that we fried tightly on the bottom of a suitable baking dish. Then, spread plenty of the minced meat mixture that we prepared on top. Let's put another layer of potatoes and spread the remaining stuffing on top.
Then let's leave our dish to cook in the oven at 180 degrees with the fan setting on top and bottom for about 30 minutes.
