The visitor is currently roosting in the nest tree on NEFL Cam 2 for anyone who wants to see. V3 is not there, perhaps he found Gabby.

This is adorable! She makes herself right at home. Lays in the nest, nestorations, vocalizes, foots V3 🤣🤣 She’s a big girl too, when she foots him she is much bigger. Every eagle nest has different drama, it’s hysterical

Footing can also be a show of dominance from a female eagle. She is beautiful but much too young to be having naughty thoughts! I suppose this will be our little secret whilst Gabby is away.🤭🦅

Yep. She's beautiful and definitely deserves a great mate to build her own nest with. Wasn't they a male visitor/intruder trying to "woo" Gabby a little while back?? "Visitor" looking for a nest and a mate, this girl is looking for the same apparently even though she doesn't look quite Old enough yet. But maybe, just maybe, next year's nesting season, they can find each other and start building their own nest from the very start.😀♥️🦅 Although, I know Eagles don't like to do this being how big their nests are. Seems like they prefer to find a mate who is already with an established nest. Of course I maybe thinking of a completely different couple I love to see all these new adult Eagles aquiring a mate and a nest. But their own. Not attacking and taking a nest and a mate of another Eagle

Hiya, yes as mentioned Samson disappeared end of November. There were a lot of different eagles passing through over the next month and V3 appeared and has been living in the Hamlet with Gabby since Christmas day. They pretty well bonded but have not mated yet

Have to Say This made me laugh! Has Gabby been gone long? And yes it seems like V3 is on his best behavior! Hes probably wishing she would show up, Hopefully she will know that V3 did not invite this young female and hes Innocent! Lol! Hopefully the young female will leave on her own before Gabby gets back! Otherwise she may in for getting her butt Kicked! And hopefully neither one gets hurt.

Hahaha yes she certainly would have her butt kicked! Gabby was roosting overnight a day ago until around 6am on the morning of the 22nd. I don't think she has been seen since then

AEF are saying it is possible as she normally leaves the area in May when there have been fledglings. We will know in a week if she has left for the summer or not. As of today it has been over 2 days since she was last seen on 22nd at ~ 6am
