She could even define the concept of being chic and inspirational as a beauty queen without the stigma of dumbness they use to prejudge..I mean, look at her, and u'll find a timeless beauty and a woman who projects herself as smart & independent..that was what judges saw..don't u think?

Russia was the winner from the get-go. Miss Cyprus is beautiful, I was rooting for her to make the top 5! I was shocked when they left the beautiful Miss Colombia out of contention. :(

ese año la representante de alemania, que tiene doble nacionalidad,participo en el miss venezuela,no recuerdo si clasifico,pero entre las diez semifinalistas del miss universo 2002 habian DOS VENEZOLANAS!!!..es perfectamente legal tener doble nacionalidad y competir en los concursos nacionales.

Does anyone know the source for the Miss Universe 2002 Opening music number? It was fantastic. This was definitely one of the best Miss Universe pageants in history. Justine Pasek was the best amongst all. China, South Africa, Venezuela and India weren't bad though.
