What i always find interesting is people like you who say he changed because he really didn't, he just picked a side that we as viewers consider to be better, but really if you compare this negan with negan how we meet him it's exactly the same but one of the 2 has no leadership role to feel and has more freedom with who he kills. Love negan because he seems to be the perfect balance between accepting that everyone around you is bad but look up to you, while also being the guy that if someone steps slightly out of bounds they're going to die.

​@@loonyshots5879 he did change somewhat. he doesn't view fear as an effective motivator anymore since why he said he'd kill everyone in Rick's group if he had a chance to do things differently back then. he thought killing just two was a mercy and breaking their leader will make them obedient but now he knows better. plus, he doesn't think of ppl as resources anymore, he is seen being a part of the communities he is in and actually caring for people before anything else. they say he values his life more than other's but rly he is just more cautious not only of his life but the lives of others too. perhaps he wasn't as skilled in survival to go against horrible odds bc before his incarceration he always had a very strong security net around him

I think as time went on Daryl understood that Negan did what he did to protect his people. The way he did it by making people a resource was fucked up and evil but they live in a fucked up and evil world. He has helped them defeat several threats since him and has showed how good he can be when he’s on your side. Negan is broken and fucked up. But that’s exactly what you want on your team in a world like this.

I’ll never forget the things he’s done, starting with killing Glen and Abraham. However, if what he did was morally wrong, our protagonists have killed people and been “morally wrong” in certain circumstances too. Negan was an asshole but they’ve shown a lot to redeem him and I hate that I like his character after killing some our favorites and being a menace for so long but he’s a great character. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an amazing actor and I’d love to see him in more things in the future
