Considering how early we're getting these animations, I think they look great. I'm expecting they'll be more polished by the time Negan is released. If you look back at the arcade release of T7, a lot of the characters looked janky there as well, it's probably just how the T7 team prototypes their animations.

I don't know why but something feels off about Negan, like at some points he just looked, off? Whilst it's cool to have a character from a show as big as TWD (I've yet to watch it) it feels somewhat odd. His entire combat style is "Imma hit you with Lucille" and I'm just hoping he works in well with the rest of the cast. Also why bring Julia back? I know she had some fans and some players but it feels as though there may have been someone else they could have brought back instead. But then again, considering how well the characters have been since Geese I think my worries and complaints will be buried. Also I really want that stage's soundtrack

His animations looked a bit janky in this trailer. That grab with the knife looked especially unfinished. I'm going to hope it just looks that way because this is an early trailer because he will stand out really badly if his stuff looks this way in the official release. We'll have to wait and see. Julia came back because she's one of the most requested characters and she did actually see some play at high competitive levels in previous games. They'll need to make her better than she was in 6/TTT2 but she'll do just fine in T7 I think.

@@badassgenevideos No they just removed her. Story wise she just saves nature and thats it, so she didn't have too much of an interesting narrative (to me anyway). And I never saw her online in previous Tekken games and so it felt odd bringing her back into this one. I just feel like there were more interesting characters, but as Average J said, she was played alot in high level competative play and apparently (since I myself never saw people ask) a highly requested character.
