I love using a similar strategy but with Stardust Spark Dragon and Stardust Chronicle! You can even accel synchro using the Formula into Chronicle (on your next turn though since it’s Light) and use its effect to make it immune to card effects. And if something happens to your Shooting Star, you can banish it with Chronicle and bring it back when Chronicle gets destroyed. Spark also helps protect your field along side a stardust in a first turn. Summon Spark Dragon using Junk Synchron/ Converter and then Necroid Synchro into Stardust Dragon then use skill.

@@anotherguy1324 not really true. Shooting star is made with a one card combo so its easy to make. Not only that but even if you do make Shooting star you can be popped or disrupted by any card like cyber slash. All the top decks have outs to Shooting star

Just adding on to this idea you can use cosmic flare or shooting star with chronicle to out towers like obelisk or red nova.

@@kaisolomon5187 Believe it or not I actually managed to pull it off against an annoying Shiranui trap player who kept popping my cards with his traps. He used his resources to pop my SSD so I went for Chronicle and use its effect to banish SSD and my other synchros from grave and protect it from all his traps for as long as I could. He used all his resources to wipe it out and once he did I summoned back my SSD for game. Chronicle is good against trap heavy decks like Shiranui and StellarKnight.

That's what I did before the structure deck and skill came out LS Engine and necroid and the stardust xiaolong. It was pretty trash but fun. My best turn one was shooting star, chronical spark and FL Every in the GY

I've been using Necroid Synchro for a long time, I used to have a strat that summoned Stardust Chronicle (with his effects) and a Shooting Star, but anyway, Synchro Change is also an alternative, a bad one though. Also, remember Stardust Shimmer is a card that can help revive monsters like Shooting Star Dragon.

@@mzsixteen Actually, no, Stardust Shimmer revives any Synchro Dragon monster. In the OCG, this card isn't even part of the Stardust archetype, since it's name doesn't contain the "Sutadasto", it's name is the literal japanese word for stardust. Anyways... One of the nice things about this card is that you don't even need to banish Tuners to special summon the monster.

Not sure if it's done on purpose or by accident, but the music you insert when dueling against Yubel is her Event Theme and not her Dueling Theme. I've noticed it across other videos since other characters have their Dueling Theme inserted but never hers. Unless it's on purpose, then don't mind me.

If your shooting star dragon is in your grave you can necroid synchro into cronical spark. Then banish for cronical spark as cost. Then if cronical spark gets destroyed it floats into any dragon synchro. Or you could necroid synchro into shooting star and have an immune to everything floating cronical spark

I did shooting star dragon with dragunity when it first came out and got a 7 game win streak. Just an idea. Wind monsters, easy avalon or easy stardust. Can have a level 2 dragunity tuner or a formula synchron and choose to summon ascalon or shooting star because theyre both wind dragon monsters, and with one of the dragunity tuners equipped to the shooting star you can attack directly

I usually use stardust shimmer as it can summon any dragon type synchro and as crazy as it sounds if I get over powered by a higher ATK monster then my shooting star i will actually use Shooting star bow CEAL to just go for direct attack with multiple hits

@@sillas2819 In what language is it Explosion Star Dragon? That’s a way cooler name. But yeah, that is one good use if you properly synchro the chronicle spark first. If you use necroid synchro he comes out with his effect negated, so you only get the revival effect for a banished synchro when he dies. Since you can’t make chronicle spark (a level 10), with necroid synchro using a shooting star (also 10), the best bet would be to use Samsara Dragon as the level 5 and float into that. Then if samsara is destroyed you can bring back shooting star.

Im mad, i used Necroid from day one of Shooting Star in Duel Links, feel like its gonna run rampant now 😭. Its the reason I can get Road Warrior out next to Shooting effectively and still excavate multiple attacks. Or get out a Chronicle Spark, who can still resummon a dragon on destruction. Definitely some hidden uses out there

Maybe on the skill you use. For example, balance is not able again to activate monster effects during the main phase of the first turn.
