Sounds like The Beach Boys at their most unhinged.

Starts sounding like Gentle Giant's Think of me with kindness (or Beach Boys), then at 0:35 becomes dixieland, then at 0:45 is acid jazz / smooth a la Jamiroquai, at 1:03 would perfectly fit George Benson. I understand why commenters seem to dislike it, but to me it's one of the most interesting from the last months.

@@graslund42 he would have to obtain the proper licensing, which can get pricey

The chorus and start or the verse kinda sound normal, but then there's just a couple of chord changes a few lines into the verse that make this sound a bit unhinged.

This has a slightly sinister and unsettling sound, so it reminds me of Dr. T from 10,000 Fingers Of Dr. T. Funnily enough, though he would hate this song because it has instruments that aren't piano. It's like his theme song, though if there was a piano cover of it.
