Jefftron makes a nice MOSFET trigger unit with AB, with the classic trolley and contacts, perfect for people with orc fingers. Great "upgrade" for 30€ when the CYMA microswitch decides to break and very sturdy.

@@ss-to7ii Yes, it's a straight drop-in. The shape of the unit itself is like a regular V2 contactor and trolley. There are two similar units, one with active brake and one without. I'd go with the one with brake.

Ultimately it's fundamental to understand how your Airsoft gun works and operates. Even if it's just the basics. With this knowledge you will learn how to look after and care for them. For example people trying to clear a blocked BB (do NOT keep firing it trying to clear it. It's unreal but then I've seen players who are disappointed in a Marshall decision and thrown there chinesium made rifles to the floor and wonder why it snaps either before the front rail or the buffer tube.

Luke, i do a lot of recoils and i am also seriously considering stopping! People need to learn that a £900 gun that comes with all fucking plastic internals! no mosfet! (not even a bog standard one) in a hobby that is fucking obsessed with 11.1's (which they will try to use in a TM, ONCE!!) and all "upgrade" parts are stupidly over priced!! Yet people are buying TM's simply to say "I RUN A TM RECOIL" big fuckin whoop!! Here is my £70 cyma that i spent £150 on internally, it can mag dump 2000+ rounds at 28rps!! lets see your recoil do that?!?! (even after dropping a grand into the gearbox) Yeah i'm getting wound up myself just typing this ha ha Great video bud.

A systema thats still running nice :) you almost never hear of those anymore when i got into airsoft 12 years ago systema tm and g&p were kimg and you were a bum if you used cyma dboys and g&g but are bum guns were always ready to gonevery weekend and those who had the tms systemas and g&p refused to use somehting else and for months miss whole seasions due to 1 little thing not working out now nobody uses tm accept hicapas systema and g&p are non exsistent anymore now that airsoft today theres so many options sleeper guns nobody bought accept that 1 guy and hes slaying everyone the times have changed :) and thats cool you got a systema still running solid and you got a crash course on how to work on it that was a smart move :D

My JG M16A4 ended getting a crack in kind of the same area that those Cyma's get them, except farther back in front of the stock mount. The main reasons for the crack in my case are because the gun went through 4 years of hard use and the upper receiver is made out of cheap plastic. I ended up putting JB Weld on it lol.

The newer version are good and better but there is a catch.... you can go speedboi with it the microswitch will not allow it and the arm is definitely better ad ive opened mine up few times to inspect it but no matter what trigger, motor and gears you have the switch and mosfet won't allow you go into town with it it will jutter and etc. Also big tip for those with it make sure the pistol grip is aligned properly or it will make a bad sound.

I had a Mk1 TM Recoil, never a problem with it. Although I left it reasonably standard, an M100 spring, enhanced recoil spring and that was it. Outside of that it was all diminishing returns for increasing cost. The only time it ever went wrong was such a simple fix it was almost funny. Motor connector fell off the terminal. Thats all that ever went wrong with it.

Ran my VFC Avalon for 2 years flawlessly but when I opened it up to do upgrades, the whole gearbox shell was warped and bent! I have no idea how it ran so well for so long with a gearbox shell that was so bent that I couldn't put new bearings in it, nor did I want to but no bearings actually sat in it very evenly!

@Johnny Dong it's about more than making money. People that didn't pay $400 dollars have guns with actual reasonable problems but many brand new VFCs need repairs and custom modification out of the box. It's just a shame and annoying to have to fix.

why techs working on guns and not other guns is as simple as "i don't like them" or as complicated as complex issues scheduling builds with current workloads or part availability. Just from my perspective, any gun like any car given enough time and money can be fixed, but most guns are not actually worth that much time and money that is sometimes required to fix them, some cars aren't, they even have a term "beyond economical repair". thus a paid fix from a shop / independent gun tech is not always viable. Conversely, if you can mainstream the rapid part availability, knowledge, and repair of one particular brand, you then risk just only doing that one brand or sub model of a brand. not that that is inherently bad. Personally, I think there are more pros for airsoft techs "staying in their lane" than cons. and like I say it's seen negatively but it's just ego from the tech and the customer. like somehow you're a bad tech for just working on VFC or TM or Cyma, the only thing bad would be specializing and being bad at it. gas shotguns are a pain in the arse, but that's not to say there's not a market/customer need out there for a gun tech specializing in gas shotguns. because there's a fuck ton of broken ones out there haha, that I also do not work on and I fucking love tm. mostly. They are a time sink, the problem is you'll always get a tech reply "i work on them and can turn it around in less than a day" well good for you, knock yourself out. Most of us techs have to live in the land of the real while trying to manage 30 inquiries a week. it sucks but triage in airsoft tech is a real thing. I think i turned down on the other week that was effectively having to make a new trigger because it was proprietary, now some gun techs are able to do that now, but it doesn't mean they should spend days making a 3d model or that the customer would be willing to pay whatever the one-time print cost is going to be for a metal 3d printed trigger. that's a crazy amount of work for a 200 GBP product. and i don't think gun techs should have to feel bad about turning it down, even though we do / i do. lastly, there's the fun factor. Yes, this is paid work for a lot of us but we also have to do it a lot, sometimes it's just nice to work on something different or interesting or to simply keep it being something you enjoy because it can really be a Flippin pain in the arse sometimes where you think why to bother. ive seen a lot of gun techs start up and stop, ive done it myself over the years as you enjoy it / don't enjoy it.

little late here i guess but i think i know why this cyma lowers brake the way they do: first of all the spring guide is screwed direktly to it which means the force of the spring is diectly transfered to it insted of the GB, second the lower of this model/gen (at least at the point of failuare) is strukturally way weaker than the GB and not inherently meant to take that kind of beating so it is going to fail eventually (continous process not 100-0), third the reason why it brakes at the same spot 95% of the time is because the selector assembely which takes space and fixes the selector through the lower to the GB being locatet there the lower has less space to flex and kinda vibrate it out so the mayority of the stress is located there. BUT that is kinda user failuare in my opinion!!! cuz when shouldered the force of the spring is tranceferred to the shoulder via the buffertube/stock anyways, instead of being dissolved by the lower so its mostly getting damage while dryfiering on the table!!!! Cyma platinum m4´s are flawless!!! btw sry for bad grammers im german

Let's be honest, TM are great, the shoot well for their power, they last long enough for you to get a walking stick. They just do it as long as you use them as they are meant to be use. TM doesn't care about other markets rather than Japan market. Take the mk23, there are 2 ways to get higher than 1J power. Put a stronger gas or/and a longer barrel. Firts one, you need to "seal" the mag or else it starts to leak and fail with stronger gases. Second, you have to wider the outer barrel. Both requires mods to work proply. It may seem that TM builds their guns in a way they will fail or break if we try to powerup the gun over 1J, Japans max power by law.

my mk 46 mod 0 recoil shock is crazy, out of the box the range on 0.23g bb's is mad good 50m+ and thats at 270fps, yes power is low out of box, very expensive but hell its going toe to toe with the very best of full upgraded aeg's, players on the skirmish day when i took it out were amazed at the range, tm really know how to get the very best out of their stuff

My brand new and first ever airsoft gun, CYMA Platnum 097B from TaiwanGun, lasted all but 3 hours at a skirmish day, last weekend. Makes the chime/tune when plugged into battery, but wont fire at all. Absolutely gutted, TG are telling me its probably the microswitch but they won't take it back in for repairs because they have stopped trading with the UK. I'm literally stuck with a brand new gun that I cant use, all while being shafted by the retailer

The mosfet is dead. My cyma m4 has a mosfet which died after 2 games. Unless you're willing to pay an airsoft tech over £100 for a new mosfet installation I'd recommend getting a good airsoft gun that doesn't have a mosfet unless its a titan mosfet.

I legit threw mine like a shotput. Wouldn't feed, power issues.... so I had a strop & lobbed it literally like a shotput down the range & the barrel bent to the left. It stayed down the range for a few days being shot at by people until somebody offered to take it for £40. It's never skipped a beat since then, worked flawlessly bent. Fucking ares.

I stopped buying off of Evike because I bought a Burst Avocado for my Famas because I wanted to make my Famas like the one from MW2 and then never shipped it out and then they told me they would ship it to me like 4 times after contacting them several times. Wow what poor timing for me. **The American E Company** sent me a rail kit for a RIF last week (they are the only place globally i could find it in stock) and it either was already damaged before dispatch or got damaged because the packaging was essentially just a plastic postage bag like a bin liner. Metal parts in a bin liner coming from west coast of US to europe with zero padding. They eventually offered a partial refund (25% ish) only after a load of complaining as the return postage is comedy . However despite after machining, the damaged outer barrel the rif shoots now shoots significantly to the right. I will like either have to further machine it, or get another outer barrel. Don't use them, it will happen to you and you shouldn't use them based on the fact they can't even adequately pack a piece of metal. Ive even had BB's sent domestically from local stores that had padding and a box. Ridiculous.
