On the first few eps that this played it was just Asuna, Konoka, Nodoka, and Setsuna. On the last ep they all sing ya. And the entire song has different tempo and instruments also

Its very common for young male parts to be played by females, as they can hit that voice range. In the english version however, the part is played by Greg Ayers

Probably, we can only hope for the latter. Although Setsuna's seiyuu loves to act snuggly with Konoka's seiyuu all the time in other series the two of them are in, so it's kind of ironic really.
