We have been baptized as Catholics in 16th Century, around a million of our ancestors, unfortunately because of persecutions our ancestors had to leave Japan to South East Asia continent, Dutch East Indies, modern day islamic Indonesia & the Philippines. We will forever be grateful for the Meiji restoration that ended the isolation & unleash Japan to its full potential.

Today, Some pastors said that japan is unlike any other Asian countries, “it is so hardened ” . Some said it twas a result of preachers coming in in 1960s-70s doing mass conversion to 100thousand japanese then leaving them behind with no one to continue to fully share the Gospel to them.

Christianity survived centuries of persecution in Japan. Eventually Nagasaki has become home to the larger number of Catholics in Japan, they built a Cathedral and the city was referred to as “Little Rome”. Then the masonic Truman nuked the cathedral, killing thousands of devout Christians, including women and children.

I'm hāfu, half Japanese & i didn't even know this 😮. What an evil man, i always feel that there's more behind the bombings because of the scary statue of the Mother of God left that survived the bombing. You can see the report on National Geographic. I don't like the place where i live right now, but my father told me that we were (our ancestors) leaving Japan to save our lives (& our faith). We had the statue of goddess Kannon that we identified (on purpose) as Mother Mary as the memory of our land & our baptism.

@@saiasiqwertyuiop6443it wasn't a matter of not knowing, the fact was brutally clear that Japan wasn't trying to surrender. There's been some shifts in historical narratives to help paint the use of nukes as unnecessary and the US actions in WW2 as being nothing but a crime. It's understandable why this is done but it does a disservice in telling the reality of the situation, by no means were the Japanese trying to surrender, they did offer terms of peace but it was in the form of demands to keep their territory and preserve the military structure and government, which is not a surrender but a cease-fire to let war hawk leaders go free and able to rule Japan as an empire dedicated to war. The deciding moment that made the US resort to the atom bomb was the battle of Okinawa, a home island that instead of simply surrendering like some "historians" say they wanted to, the Japanese army actively fought to maximize casualties and make an American victory seem hopeless

After I watched Silence, I became more curious about Japanese christian history. The 26 martyrs of Japan really touched my heart along with the many others who were persecuted in medieval Japan for their faith in Jesus. A lot of the Japanese are still oblivious to the Christian faith, but I still pray God opens their eyes to have an encounter with Him.

This is the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the LORD Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones. The Shepherd here is Jesus. John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy of Zachariah . Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ This happened near 30 to 33 AD. Now coming to Hosea Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. He tore us to pieces which is the scattering mentioned in Zachariah and Mathew. In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again. And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus. Luke 21:11 ► There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 - 2033 there are 2000 years. There was an eclipse in 33 Ad. So it's best to believe that Jesus died in 33AD. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord. Praise the Lord. Peace and Love to you all A verse to show about the Holy Trinity Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Everlasting Father?. There's your answer The whole world will turn against Israel and not just Palestine. Then know the end is near. This is a major sign to look for in the end times. And do not take the Lord's name in vain. Even Satan trembles at his name. We should not use such a name as an expression. God bless you all Please spread this message to the ends of the world

Ecumenism is a heresy, it actually does matter what you believe in
@crunchybones25283 ай бұрын
I appreciate your enthusiasm and the character of your entreaty, I do not doubt that you are earnest. however, we have to be wary of the danger presented by an ecumenistic union of churches. there ARE irreconcilable differences between Orthodoxy, Catholicism, and Protestantism (whose beliefs and practices are so inconsistent and varied they can hardly be categorized under a single label). veneration of icons, the veneration of Mary, prayer to the saints, prayer for the departed, the Presence within the Eucharist, all these things Protestants call Catholics and Orthodox heretics for, and yet these have been essential parts of Christian life from the beginning. The Catholics call the Orthodox heretics for their refusal to submit to the innovation of the Pope and the filioque, which change the nature of the Trinity by their error. To overlook and ignore these real problems, these real departures from the truth and the Church, for the sake of a so-called "unity" would be a grave error, and when the world does so regardless it will be THE heresy that marks the end.

You have to appreciate the conventional resistance toward mercy and faith in these indigenous areas. They are men who triumphed against the terrain, against shifting tides of policy, and against the temptation to think themselves above order within an established hierarchy To intuit this new doctrine would be to acknowledge their own rebellion and surrender to forces unknown. But Praise God for overcoming the world. It is through fasting, prayer, and supplication that we can approach strongholds with confidence. The battle is won, however we are the church and must contend for the presence of our own faith. It is to shine, not act as a dominion agency You don't conquer, we are a more than conquerers. These nations are familiar with this dominion because spiritual oppression has already visted and shaped their civilization. The only thing left is for them to forsake the chains of their rebellion and embrace Christ as a pathway to life, truth, and love. To dispell witchcraft and sorcery, fleeing to righteous rulership. Christ is the best option

Why do mega churches heap up huge crowds but never sends but maybe the occasional few. Young men are in despair over the lack of purpose and calling. The modern church has become like a mother who is always nursing its children but never teaching them to eat solid food. Where’s the warriors? Catholicism is the most persecuted religion in the world because it's the true way of Christ.

Also, neglect? They weren’t supposed to be in those lands, man. And they didn’t assimilate.

That's the name of the song and it is kinda hard to assimilate to a culture while the nobles persecut you and even their own people for the faith.

Less than one minute in and I'm feeling like this is giving weirdo asceticism vibes. We are saved by grace. Read Romans 4.

My dear this is unchristian song, i searched and my opinion we as a christians should not listen worldly songs, i looked at the lyrics ..... Found something in the bible" You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God" this is for me ,Lord help us not to be fooled by the enemy I love you n i hope i didnt offend you❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s a little crazy to ask to be tortured
@BRiter-ep4mv2 ай бұрын
It's not so strange if you understand the context. Just as samurai saw it as more honorable to commit suicide than to fall into enemy hands, for Christians being tortured and dying for the name of Jesus was honorable, they emphasized their faith in front of their executioners. Furthermore, Jesus himself said that they would suffer persecution just as he was persecuted.
