I enjoyed watching this so much! I have the Tarot of Mystical Moments and is one of my all-time favorites. It really opened up my interpretation of many cards. It always sits on my desk and it just seems like a dear friend. I have so many decks that I love but don't use too and so this motivates me to explore my own decks. Time to clean out the closet!

@@toriw1162 yes! I really want to pull out decks that I love this year that have been gathering dust. Mystical Moments is so beautiful and it reads so well. I think it needs to be my January daily draw :) Thanks for watching!🌹

@@thestarmeanshope right? I need to buckle down and study, apparently lol!! Thanks for watching! What is that page asking you to learn?:) 🌹

Thank you for sharing! This was so fun!!! - I wanted to share a pattern I see. A lot of the decks are telling you to buckle down and learn LOL - and I think you should try to make learning them fun so that you desire to do it. Gamify your learning or give yourself some type of reward for doing the learning. Much love

@@SocialHijinks yasss!!!! I'm working with gamifying this year! It's so funny you say that! I'm also wanting to get back to writing and using tarot to storyboard is fun and insightful. Thank you for noticing this pattern! 🌹

I don't use reversals, I think a lot of people who read holistically don't. A spread tells a story and all of the cards relate to each other so I don't think the cards need to be upside down. However, when you have a round deck, you have the energy of every card being pushed or pulled. There are infinite combinations and they are fascinating to read with. The Llewellyn deck is one I'll be working with this year, along with Legend the Arthurian Tarot. They were done by the same artist.

@@lacmalince1652 love this take. Especially on round cards :) And cool! I didn't put it together that the Arthurian Tarot did the Llewellyn Tarot art! Thanks for the heads up! They are really beautiful decks. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching! 🌹

Hi, Tarot of the Great Outdoors has been reprinted on a new, thicker cardstock😊 the publisher has sent me a copy and it is now perfect😁🙏

I have arthritis, so I love the original cardstock and have been using Tarot of the Great Outdoors a LOT. For all the complaints about it being flimsy, it's held up really well. I don't know how it'll hold up with years of use but I feel like it gets a bad rap for no good reason. I wish TarotTubers would consider weak/small hands before they trash a deck over cardstock preferences!

@autumnmaya that's true. Everyone has different needs :) I personally don't like thick cardstock as I am a riffle shuffler so thinner cardstock is a preference (for example I love the Linen Lewellyn cardstock). But personally the original TGO was a little too thin for my enjoyment. The new version reminds me of Lewellyn cardstock. 🙏

@@autumnmaya oh i get it. I like a thinner cardstock. Fornier decks are some of my favorite to shuffle for that reason. I think Great Outdoors og cardstock is tougher than it first seems. You're right in that it has held up well. And you have a very valid point. I struggle with a few decks with thick cardstock too. Playing Card Stock is my favorite. Thank you for watching and for commenting! 🌹

@@linda42tarot man that deck just hits in the feels. I really think it's because the edge of the box is blank where and how I store it and it's kinda grey so it blends in. Once I remember to pull it off the shelf, I just cant get enough of it. Thanks for watching! 🌹

omg this video appeared randomly on my youtube and I loved watching it all!! my favorite deck was the last one, it's so beautiful!! I really want to buy new decks but here where I live it's very expensive. If you don't mind, could you tell me the ideal size of tarot cards for you? I'm an artist and I intend to create a deck in the future but I'm always in doubt about the size (because I love decks with big cards but I know it's not a general thing). Also, happy new year! ✨✨
@BohemianRoseTarot4 күн бұрын
@@thedragonflysystem thank you so much for watching! For me, the size of the deck is really determined by the art. If it is very detailed and intricate, a larger card is good. If the art is simple lines are mirrors a well known system, the cards can be smaller. I think traditional Tarot size is my favorite. My second favorite is bridge deck or poker deck size. Good luck with your deck! Keep us posted! 🌹
