On PokerGO’s No Gamble, No Future, poker legends Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth face off. Hellmuth sets the trap when he flops two pair, but will Kid Poker fall for it, or will he find a way to put The Poker Brat on tilt?
When considering whether to fire a second barrel as a bluff on the turn, it's usually good to have some form of equity, such as a gutshot straight draw. This provides you with some potential outs to improve your hand and possibly win the pot.
Daniel Negreanu ‘DNegs’ or ‘KidPoker’ is in the top 5 on the poker all time money list with over $52,000,000 in total live earnings. He has 6 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Negreanu is 49 years old and originally from Toronto in Canada but resides in Las Vegas, U.S.A. Negreanu grew up playing primarily cash games and has appeared on many popular poker shows such as High Stakes Poker, High Stakes Feud, Poker After Dark, and High Stakes Duel (he won the most recent season, beating Eric Persson and Doug Polk whilst claiming $200,000 as well as the championship belt).
Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’ has over $29,000,000 in live tournament earnings putting him in the top 25 on the all time money list, he has the most WSOP bracelets (17) and is well known for his antics and outbursts at the poker table.
No Gamble, No Future is an American poker television program that airs on PokerGO, and premiered on August 1, 2022. The poker show provides cash game-focused entertainment with a variety of stakes and players partaking. It has featured players such as Phil Hellmuth, Andrew Robl, Eric Persson, Patrick Antonius, Matt Berkey, Nik Airball and Daniel Negreanu.
🔍 Pre-flop:
Daniel Negreanu, who is one of the 3 remaining players yet to win a hand in the stand up game, raises 10 times the big blind to $2,000 from the cutoff with J8o. The button and small blind fold, but Phil Hellmuth decides to call with K2o in the big blind as these two poker legends head to the flop.
💸 Flop - Ks 5d 2c
It's a dream flop for The Poker Brat as he hits two pair. He checks to Negreanu, who throws out a $3,000 continuation bet. Hellmuth decides to call with his top and bottom pair as they both head to the turn..
💣 Turn - 2d
The deuce of diamonds upgrades Hellmuth's two pair to a full house as he checks again to the aggressive Negreanu. Negreanu doesn't slow down as he fires out a big bet of $10,000. Hellmuth continues to set the trap by just making the call.
🌊 River - 3s
A meaningless three on the river sees Hellmuth quickly check over to Negreanu. But will Negreanu fire that third and final bullet? And what will Hellmuth do? Stay to the end of this poker video to find out!

Do you believe anyone will win more WSOP bracelets than Hellmuth, and who do you think has the best chance? 📈
@apocalypsepromotions7676

It'll have to be someone who has a love for the WSOP, and will loyally play volumes of tournaments. That person also had to have the appropriate bankroll. Right now, that person is Negreanu.

Negreany is too old to beat Hellmuth's record. The only guy who stands a chance is Ivey if he wants to play all the events possible. Or somebody younger such as Adrian Mateos

Quite possible - if they just add more events to win, life all modern sports & similar. Else, maybe.

Hellmuth might have slightly overplayed the grimace on the turn, but otherwise a well-acted hand. He needs to be sure to balance out his grimace range though to include some medium-strength hands as well as his monsters, along with some lower equity draws.

I find it hilarious Helmuth COMPLAINED for YEARS about the hands everyone else played and busted his AK, AA, KK, QQ, etc and now he's playing K2 offsuit 🤣🤣

Congrats on your 500th video. I have "liked and subscribed" a long time ago because this is a very useful channel. As for my favorite hand I've watched you cover? Hmmm, I don't know. I think I generally prefer the ones where we get to see someone's mistakes. Learning from someone else's mistake has the potential of saving me money down the road. I wonder if you can do a video where you don't cover a hand, but we watch as player, through many hands, starts to play on tilt. Advice for those situations might come in handy!

Kym Lim folding quads. Epic.

I thiught that was a brilliant fold in the context of the game. She didn't just think 'hey ive got quads' but took into consideration her opponent's range! I was once playing in the first round of a very very deep stacked freeze out with quads and a strsight flush card forced me to be careful against a player sho might have had a straight flush.😮

Finally Phil traps someone in a televised game! You’d think Phil would have figured it out by now that his trappy style of playing cash games would be so much more effective if he actually bought in for table limits or biggest stack. Everyone is constantly trying to run him over and bluff him off hands because he plays so passively most of the time. I know he thinks he’s taking that opportunity away from them when he buys in so small but it’s ads backwards to try and trap when you always have small stack.

📌My favorite hand has been:"Daniel Negreanu Tries To OWN Me!!!" from the Masters FT. Why is this my fav? Because you 10d 9h are playing the hand so you explain exactly why you didn't fold your pair with two Aces on the board and why DNeg wouldn't have an Ace. Trying to bluff you wasn't successful. 😃

A reasonable C-bet u say on the most RAINBOW board texture? Wtf is negraneu representing? He's never overbetting a king with 3 streets of full value if he actually has AK. I disagree wholeheartedly off the rip with the entire interpretation of this hand based off that statement of the C-bet alone
@xean316
@xean316 6 ай бұрын
He’s going to have plenty of kings in his range as the preflop aggressor. This is a perfectly fine flop to Cbet.
@fuhgetabouthat247
@fuhgetabouthat247 6 ай бұрын
@xean316 Plenty of kings aren't betting 60% on the flop especially Negreanu, who invented low-balling and downbetting in modern poker. That's not a board Phil calls OOP with 34s, so Daniel is NEVER 10/10 Times over betting a King, especially against Hellmuth, who could be smooth calling sets. If Negreanu has a King, he would check or down bet a turn after being smooth called to now pot control what could be a bad situation for AK on a check raise river scenario. But that's a hand that again doesn't exist because, as played, NEGREANU would NEVER play AA or AK this way
@user-bx9ri2qv3y

This range is literally the quintessential perfect range for the preflop aggressor and it shouldn’t connect well with most of the BB range. I have no clue what you are so upset about, but you should really learn range advantage before you start making a big fuss about it.
