Subliminal Musique réglée telle une horloge atomique. La guitare solo, les chanteurs, le bassiste, le batteur, les instruments à vent. Chacun distille son nectar. La vraie musique africaine❤

In 1967 I was 16years old. By that time Mabutu was recruiting 15years boys to the army , to create the red berets airborne division. And Bavon Marie-marie launched his best album "Mwana 15 ans" a lot of my friends joined. I stayed home listening and dancing soukoussss

As a young person I used to think that this was an OK Jazz song. Thanks to KZbin,I have discovered that it was a Negro Succes song. This underscores the similarity between Franco and his younger brother, Bavon. As a person who learned to play guitar, thanks to the music of the likes of Bavon, Franco, Bokelo, Rochereau Tabuley, Dr. Nico, I would admire Bavon's climbing the guitar chords to those deeper strings on the guitar i.e. the fourth, the fifth and the sixth strings as exhibited in this song.

It is true, however, I am not sure Bavon was the composer of this one. It for me certain that he played the soö-guitar. Yes sure the man was like his brother a genius.
@mausosiralisam3484 Жыл бұрын
It is unfair to attribute all the music to Bavon when other less known musicians probably played a bigger role than him. Those promoting Bavon are probably ridding on the fame of his bro. Am for example told that the band leader of Negro Success was Bholen not Bavon. Bholen played the all important and significant signature rythem in the music, without which the label would be probably tasteless
@georgeodhiambo5983 ай бұрын
@@mausosiralisam3484I concurr to some extent. I was equally surprised to learn that it was Bholen abd not Bavon who was the band leader. But surely Bavon must have added a unique to this band which no one else in the group had. His death marked the beginning of descent and death of Negro Success in a very deep way. It is onevif those strange twists in life. And neither Bholen nor were even vocalists, which is an area where Negro Success stood out in a unique way. Life? Nkt!

You are wrong. This was not OK Jazz and there is no Michel Boybanda in the line-up of vocals in this song. At that time OK Jazz could not match Negro Success in any manner. OK Jazz benefitted from the collapse of Negro Success later.
