It doesn't matter if he's running into the heart of the opposition forwards, his twinkle toes always manages to get him over the advantage line. And he has the added ability of always positioning himself in contact to lay the ball back for the next phase. Might seem pretty trivial but I've seen bigger players getting turned over or not securing possession in the same situations. The amazing offloads is another attribute this little master has. He is such a BOSS

+expat74 Agree thats what makes him a complete player ball in hand he can create both with his feet and hands fairly consistently, well deserved of break-out player of the year. He is also very underrated under the high ball and defending too for a small guy. What I really like is his confidence to play his natural game, no doubt the All Blacks made him feel comfortable because what he was doing in Super 15 translated easily for him and that's a credit to the player he's the and the culture of the All Blacks I just hope he can stay injury-free especially from all those steps he does tearing an ACL wouldn't be nice at this point of his career when injuries were his achillies heel a couple of seasons ago

This is the one player I was hoping to see when I went on the Lions Tour to NZ. Was so pissed off when the locals told me he wasn't playing. Massive sulk ensued! Locals even tried to cheer me up, Just said said don't worry fella plenty of others to see. Didn't help! Sulked! Hoped to see ex players like Olo Brown? I based my game and how I behaved and played in my position on him. Didn't see him. Sulked again!
