My daughter gave me a fig tree two years ago. The first winter killed it back to the ground , but not completely under the ground . Lucky me it came back up this past Springs ,covered it with 4 five gallon buckets of mulch this past Fall . She is healthy and happy now . Lovely ! 🌿

I'm like you, Tipper. I've always felt safer by turning my head & looking as I back, rather than relying on just looking in the mirrors. Of course, now with age & arthritis, I can't turn my head as well, so I try to avoid all backing now days. Oh, my, I loved the vegetable stand store. Seeing the Nehi sure brought back memories. As a kid, we could get one for a quarter, then turn in the empty bottle at the movie theater to get in free. Loved your trip to town!

Another great video. Thinking about your garden. The auger you bought will be put to good use. The vegetable stand was a good place to stop. Good eats for sure. I remover drinking a Nehi years ago. Didn’t realize it is still being bottled.

Love little farm stores like that. We had one close to the place where we lived when I was a boy. During the spring and summer I'd buy a grape soda, a pack of peanut butter nabs, and some nightcrawlers. I'd fish in the creek until I ran out of worms and then take what I caught home for supper. That is, on the day's when the fish bit! 😂

Howdy folks. Loved the cooking videos lately. Eveything always looks so dern delish! A little message for Matt.... Now I'm not a sales person so I'm not trying to sell you anything but simply offering up some food for thought. I've heard Matt talk about the shed he wants to build and he's described it as kind of a lean-to or carport type shed to park his tractor under. Well, you might as well go ahead and look around at the full on sheds or garages with a roof, floor, four walls and double garage doors. With the price of building supply right now, it may be an idea to look around at prebuilt garage style sheds. You can get a two bay garage kit for under 10K. Fun lil story....When I was in the market for a camper, the salesman said "I'm not trying to sell you the camper you want today, I'm trying to sell you the camper you'll want a year from now." I had to let that marinate for a lil while and It made total sense to go ahead and consider a lil bigger camper instead of the one I thought I wanted. Maybe consider buiding the shed or garage you'll wish you had a year from now. Heck you could build one that will fit your tractor, your four-wheeler, all your gardening supplies and even a workbench. You may think you don't need a bigger shed or garage but it's an investment for the whole family and you'd have a workshop to be teching those little boys out of one day. Just food for thought. Thanks for all your amazing content. Y'all always bless us with so much fun. May you be blessed and I'm glad you're both feeling better. God bless y'all. Lisa from Ohio

I love Farm Stores (old ones) so fun! Tipper, you need to scroll KZbin and watch women use augers, I got a chuckle when you had to ask Matt what the pieces were, and the curly thing! 😂😂 I bout died.. anyways, if you watch Garden Answer, Laura and her husband have BEAUTIFUL GARDENS, and fruit gardens and there is a lot one can learn from watching her. Her parents own a Nursery and Aaron, her husband, his Dad is a pastor of the church there in Ontario (Oregon) . She uses augers all the time and they sell them on their online shop (the smaller ones for planting) they use I think 5 sizes and then Aaron has MASSIVE ones to plant massive trees.. that he uses his Bobcat. Women have come a long way, on building and using tools..it opens a whole new world when you don’t have to have your husband to put a nail in the wall to hang a picture.. women now build walls.. My girls can use tools shovel snow a mile long, move furniture, change a tire while still being feminine. The man is the head of the home but God sure doesn’t care that a women is smart and knowledgeable.. because one may need to know how to do things for themselves come a day.. Those sodas looked so good, they are good poured over vanilla ice cream.. I haven’t had a pop in probably 15 or more years.. Enjoy all your good snacks!
