How many years later I found this and I felt every word this sister spoke as me myself a blak man in these lands of America or this world to that matter. I walk into a space and the 👀 I get. It hurts at times because I was not raised in that but I have no choice to live in that. I love myself but this world sometimes WOW

I fucking love her cadence and rhythm she’s so captivating. She had so many lines where if other poets spoke them the crowd would have cheered but you just get sucked in your forget to snap and whatnot. Stunning.

Daaaaamn I'm a black man and proud of it I love this poem and if they find me walking I hope they think he not alone because I'm alone to them but I make a home of Angelic men that will soon bring the storm on in after the stomping pounding crashing in of the son of man.
