I watch for 2 reasons. As a paraplegic, there isn't much in the way of lawn maintenance that I can do so I enjoy seeing it done well. The other is to empty my mind of the evil that is going on in our country and around the world, at least for a little while. Keep doing what you do !!

I know you do lawns for elderly for free. Well I am 70 was trying to do my own yard work. I am not disabled and reasonably healty , but I could do it. The lawn over was too heavy the weed eater was too heavy we don’t have and edger so therefore thanks for all your help providing help to elderly people! BYW I know you are from Idaho! I recognize the scenery around you. I use to live in Idaho. So pretty there you are lucky!😊😊😅😅😅.

God leads us in different directions throughout our lives. I will be 68 this year. I lost my job just before the epidemic. I was financially able to retire so that’s what I did. My youngest granddaughter was born 5 months later. She was 3 months pre-mature and weighed 2lbs7oz. She spent the first 105 days of her life in the NICU. I believe God made it possible for me to be able to be there for her. She needed specialized care that prevented her from going to a Daycare and I was able to provide her daily care while her parents worked. She’s 6 years old now and I am so thankful God chose us to be her family. She has Down Syndrome and I was able to give her one on one teaching. She started pre-school knowing her colors,numbers,alphabet and shapes. God knows exactly what He is doing….all we have to do is listen and follow where He leads us. May God continue to use you to Bless others.❤️🙏

Way back in the 1970's when I turned 8 years old I've been expected to do the lawn. Over the years I've gotten pretty good at it. I get my lawn done on the weekends. I watch videos like yours to because I get ideas and it's therapeutic in a lot of ways but, mostly to get me motivated to tackle the lawn on the weekend. I hope things are going well in your life. I don't know if anyone said or not, but that is a "argiope trifasciata", otherwise known as the "banded garden spider" or "banded orb weaving spider".. common across both North and South America (but also found in Europe). They usually appear in the fall during September or October.

As a younger man I enjoyed mowing and edging. Since the drought situation intensified in the mid 20-teens we've transitioned to hardscape and turf. And now that I'm older, I'm glad we did. We still have plants and a few small trees to tend to and some minor weeding here and there. But, I loved getting the mower and trimmer out and making my yards look as good as possible. You are loved!! Being a guy, unless I am in church it feels weird to just say I love you. Especially to a stranger. But I've been practicing - and you know, you are just the type of person that would make those once in a lifetime fantastic friends. I hope you have yourself a nice flock of friends and family. That is really the most valuable things we have. You not only do grade A work, but you are an influencer too. My lawn man wasn't doing that good of a job so I let him go. I have all battery machines (boys and their toys lol) and you are right - it's like a therapy to get out there, excersize and manicure my little section of the block. The string trimmer is by far my biggest challenge so I watch you like a hawk to learn. I made a mistake and underbought so it's really my fault. For me lawn care has always been therapeutic. But for the past 24 years it’s been reliving the memories I had with my dad. Growing up I had to do everything he did, and that’s why I love yard work.
