Loved watching the black birds enjoy the cutting and the food it sent in the air. Very smart birds taking advantage of the opportunity. Wise move, Mr Cris, not using air buds and just listening to the relaxing sounds of the mower as we do. Handy gadgets but not healthy. You are a wise man. When you said that you almost ruined your mower, I knew someone had thrown something from the road. I’m so glad you didn’t bust anything. How often do you have to sharpen your blades? That had to nick it badly. 😮. I thought those birds were so cute. You stirred up the bugs for them. My initial near bewilderment, that the growth looked more like an empty lot, was explained by a house having burned down. That would be crushing to the owner.
