I used to live in Walnut Creek in the 90’s. Although it has grown a lot since then, it was my favorite place to live even though I’m in San Diego now. I love Walnut Creek!

My all time favorite restaurant in my entire life is Montecatini! The atmosphere, food and wine never disappoint! It’s on Civic and N. Main.

You didn’t mention Las Lomas High School, my alma mater, class of 65’. It’s “the other high school”. LOL We moved to WC in 1951. I didn’t recognize anything on your video until you drove south on Main Street. I grew up in WC. It was the best town in California! Maybe the world. LOL. Heather Farm (aka: Marshbank Ranch) was still a ranch. I boarded my horse there for $20 a month. Only 5 other boarders. I had a whole shed row and large paddock all to myself. There were walnut groves and pear orchards on Ygnacio Valley Rd. Nina Bancroft was one of my riding friends. Her family owned the walnut groves. All gone now. Sitting on our porch on North Main you had a view of pastures and poppies and a car went by every 15 minutes during rush hour. It was idyllic. To those who remember, I share your memories and your regrets. Walnut Creek was god’s little acre, as the saying goes. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Will watch for the sequel. 😊

I went to Del Valle, the other-other high school, class of 77. Long gone now, I'm afraid.

This video makes Walnut Creek seem so empty, it’s a much busier city than this, perhaps you were filming during covid lockdown?

I lived in Walnut Creek from 1985-1993 while I was in the Marine Corps stationed at the Concord Naval Weapons Station. It was still a small wonderful town back then, but now it has become just another trendy playground for the wealthy. The apartment I lived in for $465.00 a month is still there, nothing new but the paint and carpet and it now rents for over $3,000.00 a month. There is nothing left of the historical Walnut orchards, and at the end of the day, it's still in Commiefornia where hundreds of thousands are bailing out because of over reaching government and exploding taxes. I now have several "neighbors" on my road in Montana who fled Walnut Creek and other towns in Contra Costa County because of the condition of the entire state. It is a real shame what VOTERS have done to the once great state of California.

I live here and it’s actually boring. Everything is so expensive that you spend most if your time at work just to survive. I’m moving to tampa Florida next year. Can’t wait.

Depends on your field then. In my field, I make way more than if I were in Tampa, which is far less walkable.

I live in Walnut creek ,and the answer is no. There's rarley insects or bugs. Which is great!

I've only seen tarantulas (probably _Aphonopelma iodius)_ up on Mount Diablo. They're nocturnal, but they'll come out of their burrows in the daytime for breeding season, in fall. They're probably in a lot of places around the green spaces and regional parks, but again, hardly ever see them, and never seen them in a home.
