the best looking leather seats gm made in those days in my opinion!! Thanks for the video.

They REALLY should have made a special edition of the 2000 Chevy Blazer known as the Blazer Buzzer Edition which has the old GM buzzer from the late 70s in place of the chime.

We had a 98 Jimmy. Absolutely loved that little thing.

@@soniaogren7678 what a gem. Can’t find these anymore up here. Our insurance writes everything off 10 years older for a scratch these days.

I had this very same model of GMC Jimmy in Amber Bronze metallic. I loved that SUV. It had a small air compressor built into the cargo area for tire inflation I suppose, although I used it to inflate bike tires and basketballs. I had it almost 3 years until it was totalled in a wreck with another GMC Jimmy ironically. That faux pushbar was pretty cool at the time.

Yeah. These are pretty neat. My aunt has one that has the push bar and it's in Indigo Blue. I love the diamond-quilted leather seats in it. By today's standards, it's pretty tacky, and the dealer she bought it from were desperate to get rid of it! Anyways, they are pretty hard to find, so it was exciting to be able to feature it in a review!

@@NeighborhoodCarReviews Watching this review is like a way-back time machine for me. One girl I dated back then loved these quilted heated seats and she'd get upset if the seats weren't already warm whenever I'd pick her up during the winter months. 😏😏😏

In 2003 I came on vacation to visit my father who was then working in the US. It was his buissness car..and damn it was the first car that had air conditioning in which I was inside. Not to mention the size, we could easly load our family car onto it... Its still looks cool, i wish we had some of those trucks in europe

Yes it is. Despite its many many issues, I was amazed that the interior held up well and I was able to film this review! It’s one of the reasons I do this channel. As a sort of digital preservation of cars.

I've owned a total of five S10s (though none of the SUV variant) and just learned about this edition today, on accident, while looking for interior replacement parts for my current pickup. Someone was selling the door panels and I saw "Diamond Edition" so I had to look it up. After researching, I just had to try to find a video of one and I'm so glad I found this. This is definitely unique and even though gaudy, I actually really like it. I have to ask though, that little diamond on the antenna, is that a factory quirk or a previous owners wit?
@NeighborhoodCarReviews5 жыл бұрын
+Adam H It really is quite the unique trim. I’m the same way. It’s so gaudy I like it. They even gave the first owners Diamond Edition leather jackets, as if that wasn’t enough! Now, the antenna, that was the previous owner and not at all factory.

I remember these. They had really purple stock headlights I mean they have got to be 12k hids
@NeighborhoodCarReviews3 жыл бұрын
I used to work for a GMC dealer when these were out, I know the HID’s were optional on them. The Chevrolet TrailBlazer (this body style) had them as standard, and they were 12K I believe.

Which is really odd, because the first-gen Escalade was nothing more than a GMC Yukon Denali with Cadillac Badges and grille treatment! GM is the king of Badge Engineering! And, as tacky as the Diamond Edition is inside, I love it!
