Great review. I remember seeing these on the road when I was a kid. Someone loved this car to keep it looking that great.

We have a 1986 Chrysler LeBaron convertible in our garage we've owned the car for about 22 years now bought it from the original owners and it is absolutely fantastic. It's black with a saddle colored interior

There's something about these cars that I just really like. Maybe it was growing up in Florida, where a car like this made for a decent little city car that could offer some open air "fun". I don't know if I'd go out of my way to own one today (especially since I'm not in Florida), but if a decent one ever crossed my path, I'd be tempted to give one a home, despite better judgment.

Nice! Reminds me a bit of my Dodge 600 I used to own. See it in my channel.

Wonder if it was owned by Jon Voight as I heard he had one in the 80s/90s.

Front wheel drive for the winter, spacious on the inside; inexpensive, and easy to fix. A lot of people like these, but are ashamed to admit it. These were unique and formal looking, even in the 1980s, and now, even more so. -P.S. Yikes! The dreaded Mitsubishi 2.6 liter. Beware the timing chain guides. The U.S. made and designed 2.2 liter was better.

Amazing review. Quick question, would you know how much it would be worth right now approximately?

The LeBaron is not the ONLY FWD Convertible in 1982. Dodge offered the 400 convertible. I have one.

Yes, just a lower trim level. EG. I have a power top but roll up windows, no power door locks, no digital dash with a voice that says "fix me I'm broke" LOL
