After I bought a merch t shirt after their set, I saw a group of people excitedly yelling near a fence... it was tom saying hi to fans! I joined the group and held my merch shirt for signature. After holding it up for a minute he grabs it and jokes, “is this your underwear?” And signed it! I still remember the feeling of him grabbing the shirt, signing it, and handing it back. Thanks Tom! Neighborhoods really is a kickass album! Considering that they were running out of 2 studio's and sending material back and forth via the net. It feels like there was still some awkwardness between the band members during the recording process, but they still managed to make a solid record and after watching this clip it seems that mark and tom are great mates again! Neighborhoods is awesome, Dogs Eating Dogs is just as good. We love these guys!!!!

Mark wasn't even aware of Boxcar Racer, and he felt like he was kept in the dark, and betrayed. The remorse and distrust with Tom started there. Mark accepted Travis being on that record because Tom didn't know who else to ask, and money was money for Travis at the time. There's a lot of history there that you ought to read up on, because it's interesting and you start to understand how Tom's ego became bigger than Blink.

This was 2011. I remember watching this while waiting for the train the day it came out. Google was really pushing Google+ back then, and a lot of people really wanted something new after facebook. Mark was very into it, and that's why they are there for this interview at all.

Honestly it's the other way around as far as your comment about not talking to fans. I've met Tom multiple times at AVA shows and he's the nicest, most down to earth musician I've ever met. On top of that I brought up Blink to Tom before the reunion and he had no problem discussing it and was flattered that I've been a fan of his since I was 13 (I'm 28 now). Meanwhile a good friend of mine absolutely loves Mark and has been to Blink shows as well as a couple +44 shows and has yet to meet him.

If you're a fan go find "pursuit of tone tom delonge". Tom explained pretty clearly he wanted blink to go the direction AVA went instead of how blink still is today. I'm 40 and still listen to both and everything in between. It's not all good and it's not all bad.
