Mrs. Jones should've been on the show more often. Pretty good on the mandolin. The three voices together are very harmonious.

I met Alisa a few months ago in church while visiting Nashvillle. What a sweet lady. In this video she is quite young. My compliments to the one who posted the recent remark of Anita Carter below. Glad she is remembered! Greatest female vocalist of all time - PERIOD!

So glad I came across this video. I remember Grandpa Jones very well, but I can't recall ever seeing his wife on Hee Haw. Such a talented musician as well. I didn't even know he had any children. I'm pretty sure that pretty face would have remained in my memory always had I ever seen Alisa back then even as a very young boy. I understand she ventured into instrumentals. I think she could have done more as a singer because her voice was as pretty as she was.

Ramona used to appear every so often with Grandpa....there are also a few clips out there from the Grand Ole Opry back in the 50's-early 60's - she was a very pretty indeed when she was younger.

Choose your friends for their power, IV I Trade your love for their gold; I V I It seems like a sign of the times. I But some folks remember IV I What neighbors are for, V I And some of them are neighbors of mine. Refrain I I have lived among some good and gentle people; V I I have walked in a strong, growing land. I I have sung songs I know IV I will hear once again V I Being sung by some heavenly band. 2. Building cities of steel, Building highways of stone, We've forgotten what this good earth is for. But somewhere there's land Still held in God's hand, And some of it lies near my door. Refrain 3. I hear talk every day Of a world going wrong, I hear talk of the times left behind. But a long summer's night Full of fiddles and song Is a sound that I hold in my mind.
