When I used to mow my parents yard for them I would mow the neighbors small front yard because my dad had OCD and hated his yard looked perfect and the neighbors yard was higher.But they loved it and even started mowing my dad's front yard when they'd mow theirs.

You never know what kind of interaction that can cause with the neighbors I know with our neighbors we don’t mow their lawn because we have big trees in between us. There’s a gap to get there, but they also allow their dog to shit on our lawn and never pick it up and they do that with all of our neighbors around us

@ This neighbor was also a veteran, though not elderly. What made it really odd is that my husband had offered to mow once he had apologized for the lawn because his knees were bad. He shook my husband’s hand, though he didn’t actually say anything. So a few weeks later when my husband mowed and his was getting long, he just went for it. He turned out to be a kind of paranoid guy, the thought the habitat for humanity thrift store down the street was a drug front. I’m very glad he doesn’t live there anymore.

I have had too many neighbors complain when I've mowed them in the past because it "doesn't match the rest of my yard." I've gone so far as to offer to mow their yard when I mow mine and they have refused that offer. So not as simple as fuck your neighbor. It's more like damned if you do, damned if you don't.

We mow the hell strip up to the neighbors property and stop. We use to do it all because 90% of it is ours and we would just get the extra 10% until the new neighbors moved in. She came out yelling and effn pizzed saying that’s her property and she pays professionals to do it and how dare we blah blah.. I calmly told her we were just trying to be nice and she didn’t have to yell, she could have just said she didn’t want us to and we would have stopped. She huffed and puffed about it and said she thought it was common sense not to mess other people’s property. It’s literally less than 4 ft of land. We don’t give her the time of day anymore. The professionals she hires come only every three to four weeks and it gets quite overgrown in between that time. Don’t judge situations like, you just don’t know what’s going on.

We had neighbors start mowing into our lawn a little bit at a time when we would leave the house and they went to the council saying the property line needed to be moved because they had been taking care of half of our lawn so it should be theirs now. To make it even more obvious they had a fence that they would go around to mow our lawn. They got laughed at and told they were admitting to trespassing and vandalism so they resorted to calling the cops on my parents about once or twice a week for various false accusations. Nice people.

I always find it funny when someone either exaggerates or diminishes an amount to justify their point. This isn't 1 or 2 meters. It's more like 7 meters. So, yeah, when you see your neighbors hasn't mowed their lawn for a month, why not just go ahead and mow the extra 7 meters for them. And don't forget to edge it. Oh, and sweep it up too. And if you're paying for lawn service to have it done, pay the extra to get your neighbors done as well. Sure thing.

My old home my front yard and my neighbor's front yard you know side by side together and he is a landscaper and a jerk and his front yard he know it was pristine and he would literally go out there and measure my grass and if it was 6 in or more he would call the burrow on me and I would get a notice I'd have 10 days to know or I get fined so anytime that happened which was all the time when I would mow I would do zig zags and circles and all kinds of crazy s*** why his was pristine then you want to call on me You're going to get circles and zig zags the last year I lived there I didn't get reported
