This is AWESOME! You did a great job! I am making this cake for Christmas, and starting tomorrow--terrified!! 10 hours---oh my aching feet! Question--do you think you need the springform pan? On the show they just used a regular cake pan and put acetate on the inside to facilitate the removal. I've never done that before...Thanks for showing us the way!

Julie Carney Thanks! I think because each layer gets frozen it should be fairly easy to take out of any tin you use. I couldn’t find acetate to use ha and just used what tin I had in my kitchen. Good luck for your bake!
