People outchere spreading negativity. Y'all gotta understand that everybody 'Aint YOU'. @WoopsACrazyMSA . Exactly it's good to just HAVE Neil here spreading knowledge, to those who might not access it any other way. & btw I ain't Defending Chelsea, but while you might be dissing her about her grasp of physics, she could probably tear you a new one about running a show as a host and the Skill even THAT takes. Everybody's made different on purpose guys. :) We all got our own talents.

@@stephenwatchesyoutube I agree with you. She didn't know that lightyears are measured in distance, not time. But so what? Maybe other people who usually watch her program learned something new also. Another way to think about light years is to think of a car on the highway. If you always go the speed limit (let’s say you always go at 65 mph and you never change that), then you can give directions by saying “the next exit is 2 minutes away” instead of saying “the next exit is 2.16 miles away.” It only works if you always go the same speed, and light never changes its speed, which is why this works.

chelsea is not a smart woman now is she... a light year? are you serious? Its the distance light travels in a year given the speed that its travelling in. ITS NOT HARD!!!

Name calling a person who is trying to educate herself is genuinely counter productive and rather daft

But she is not trying to educate herself?! She blew him off like a ten year old blows off their math instructor. She didn't even try to understand. Then again, I don't agree with everyone here picking on her as if they think they are so much smarter when she must have some intelligence and skills to be where she is today, so I can still appreciate your sentiment.

Jarles Doonkin you are misquoting him. It's ok though only insane people still believe the bullshit you're spewing. I wonder what point in your life you will realise what an idiot you are.

Jarles Doonkin you're misquoting the rotation of the earth and the football game. The instance you were referring too neil was not saying that. He gave a hypothetical. The pair shape earth thing. Was a way of visualising the true bottom heavy shape of the earth. Obviously it's not shaped exactly like a pear. And why go to Mars? Why do anything? Why leave the cave as cave men? Why explore uncharted lands? Because exploration is in our DNA! Aren't you curious to know if a new life form is on Mars? or maybe something new that we could use in medicine here on earth? You do realise the 19 billion is a slither of the total government expenditure for the year. Before we take money from NASA I believe there is plenty of fat to trim from other bullshit government spending. But you know what? I support your right as a tax payer to appose funding for NASA. As is my right to support it. And honestly you can watch plenty of NASA streams where you can clearly see the earth is round. There are actual photos too. But of course all of that fake right?
