I'm definitely in that super fanatical group of fans of Neil Gaiman. Since Neverwhere, Neil has ruined quite a few books for me. There's something about his extreme level of "showing" (Visualization) rather than "telling" (Ethics text 101) that paints not only a vivid picture, but an experience for me. He's awesome.

Maybe I let my imagination go a bit too far... but don't you think having Neil and Craig as writing partners would be an awesome experience? Imagine sitting in the living room with them just riffing back and forth on a story for a few hours. Even if the story never got made, the experience alone would be untoppable.
