Joe W. I was a senior in 79. I was turned on to Neil by an aunt that had his '71 Harvest album. I believe it was somewhere around 73-74 when i heard that album. Have been a huge fan since. Seen him twice, once with crosby, stills and nash. I need to see him again. He is truely a rock icon. As John Haase said above that its a shame that the newbies will most likely never hear this mans work. Too bad!

Neil Young's music became a part of my life in 1979 my Junior year in High school. I was in Vo - Tech taking automobile repair when one of my fellow classmates Played Neil Young Live Rust tape. Powderfinger to be exact. I've been a fan ever since. Rock on brother... and Thank you.

Rock-n-roll LEGEND!! If you're a Neil Young fan (aren't we all?), you need to check out this cat I just discovered on here that sounds incredibly like Neil. He's an independent artist in CT and he apparently just started doing a Neil tribute show. A couple of sets with just him and his guitars.
