Wow, thanks Neil. I wil definitely check this out. Just a shout out to tell you that I started listening to you when I was 15. My highschool boyfriend was in a band that played Buffalo Springfield tunes among others. They were good enough to have gigs every weekend. Your voice and tunes have aways always touched me very deeply in my soul. Thanks again.

Now THIS is stoner rock. Music you can get lost in. A feeling of sadness when the song ends, because you were enjoying yourself too much to even notice the passage of time.

Interesting, you talk about meeting him. I've had lots of dreams where I get to meet him, and in the dream he is just like a normal person, wants to meet me, shake my hand, know who I am, and wants to know why I like his music so much. It is such an incredible disappointment to wake up, and know that it was only a dream. I've seen him five times live, but I would still love to see him and the horse play up close, in the front row.

Yes, Neil Young is often the same music with the same sound, same kind of melodies same chords suites but still sounds very good. He went bad in the 80s when he released albums like "Landing on Water" which were really awful with 80s synth sounds and cold production. Then he came back to reality, to himself and HIS music.

"Worried that you can't hear now me now, feel the time I took" "Dreamin bout the way you feel now, when you hear my song..." Most of my life is filled with nothing but good, good memories, while listening to Neil's music. Then came a time when the music was nothing but torture. I couldn't listen to Neil for about five years. It hurt too much. And no other musician could fill that void. I knew I was beginning to heal, when I could listen again. I'm drifting back as well. Thank you.

Neil and Crazy horse played for 3 hours straight at the Plenary Melbourne, They played there hearts out, loud fast and passionate like it was the first time they had played these songs. Like teenagers in older bodies. They toured through the end of 2012 and have 30 gigs ahead of them in Europe and Neil is now 67 ''Far from lazy'', they are a Juggernaut ! Melbourne concerts were amazing! I am glad that I saw the Melbourne gigs through my eyes. May the 'Horse be with you'!

Neil Young is the boss of every type of music. One of the most creative and assured singers there's ever been. To have created such great music for so many years and also stayed at the forefront of music evolution. That tells you all you need to know about how unique he is,,,,,,and how unique Crazy Horse is. A true artist who, with Crazy Horse creates music you can't ignore and you can't stop listening to. If ever there were musical geniuses, he would definitely be one of them.

Hey George Texstel you can enjoy the music, but you sure as hell will have trouble seeing Neil playing live back in his younger days like I did when he was in CSN & Y and also Stills/Young Band. Seeing a solo show in Ruston La. and then seeing Neil having breakfast later that night at the local college grill. Seeing a solo show at the legendary La. Hayride Building in Shreveport La. where Neil never sounded better sharing a stage that Elvis, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams played on. That is what my comment meant.

Love this video. Funny how great songs can also inspire great paintings. And in my view this is one of Neil's greatest, totally hypnotic and far-reaching. The established British artist Chris Gollon loved 'Driftin' Back', played it over and over in his studio, then read about the famous dinner in 1922 when Proust, Picasso, Joyce, Stravinsky were all invited with very mixed results. Neil's great song and that dinner gave him the idea to put some of the greatest self portrait painters all at one table, and he called it 'Driftin' Back (after Neil Young)' ...worth checking it out

With all of the good music from when I was young, I just can't see how we ended up here. Sadly all my comments deal with that part. We really believed the world would change and for the better. I don't think we screwed it up, but if we didn't; who did? We certainly had our chance to lead, to change the world and instead it it all went to shit. Were we just to damn romantic and easy going?

Saw him last night at the L.G. arena in Birmingham. Fourth time I've seen him and he just gets better. I went to the zepplin reunion concert which in my opinion just seemed to be a bunch of old men making fools of themselves, nothing like I remember them when they were the best band in the world. If Neil is still touring when he is a hundred, I'll still be going to see him. Best feedback guitarist who ever lived. Last nights encore, Powderfinger, awesome.

Now I’m drifting back some 50 years. And thanks for putting a good word for our Navy when you we’re here. My father was a fifties frogman, and hearing a few boo’s wasn’t cool. You said something about the men and women defending our country, ending with something like,” I don’t know? “ and a bigger applause. Just the way it should be for those that serve. Thanks for all of the years, and all of the memories.
