First time I've ever seen a non-boss character go up against themselves in Super Turbo. Had no idea that was even possible after Hyper Fighting.

I think that only applies to the four new characters only. From what I've seen of many playthroughs the original 12 don't get mirror matches in arcade mode, unless it's human players.

Interesting. So, the criteria to face Akuma (Gouki) doesn't rely on getting perfects, just super finishers on one credit, without using a continue. Very interesting.
