Great advice. One question. How accurate are the keyword positioning displayed in the Search Console? I see it shows that my website's pages rank for certain keyword at some position, but when I search in Google, no page appears from my website for those keywords. It happens like 40% of the time.
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
Supposedly really accurate as they take all regions into account

Hi Neil this is great video again. I need a solution. I had tried this strategy since last few months for one of my client website. I have got result as well but it is fluctuating a lot. I was positioned under top 10 pages in Google but few days later I was again removed from that position and thrown away to 20th page. Is there any other way to overcome this issue? Please help.
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
More links and brand queries helps reduce fluctuations. At least that is what I am seeing.

Hi Neil, just one little interesting thought I had, do you have an opinion or any thoughts about how long time it's maybe going to take until "artificial intelligence" or machines so to say is going to take over an SEO's job?
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
Years... but it is possible.

Great video, I've just subscribed to this channel that has a wealth of great information. One Q - Should i use the same keyword in the meta description and SEO title ?
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
Yes you should. Assuming it is your main keyword.

Thanks Neil, this is helpful. i find that Yoast and semrush give conflicting advise.
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
Go with Yoast for SEO changes. SEMrush for data on keywords and competition.

Ok, I'll bite. I agree with this strategy, but for me, it doesn't appear to be working (at least in many cases). For example, one primary keyword(s) that I used to rank in the #1 - #3 spots for have been scooted out by a couple competitors. This is for a product review, by the way. This competitor has terrible content, and not even close to being thorough. For example, their post has a keyword count of 650 words, vs. 3560 words on mine. Their post has no user reviews, no comments, and no social engagement whatsoever. I have 35 real user reviews, over 150 comments, and 43 facebook shares. Their post has only been around for a few months, mine has been around since 2012 (I update this post every couple of months, so it's not 'stale' content). Their site has only been around since 2014, mines been around since 2009. The only major difference I appear to see is links, those of which appear to be VERY grey / black hat in my opinion and in the opinion of others I've spoken with. So what do you do? Do I copy their grey / black hat link building strategy and cross my fingers that I don't get penalized down the road? Why does google reward such low-value content that's clearly using manipulative link building techniques? Sorry for the long post, just frustrated.
@neilpatel7 жыл бұрын
Links really help with rankings... I would build white hat links. It will take longer and it won't be easy but that is ok. I would also focus on increasing brand queries. It's not easy to do this (unless you build a brand), but this helps with rankings a lot too.

Did you check loading time of your page their page in mobile and desktop version Do their content have any external and internal back links and if yes what is their ranking of that links Do their content have schema and do they have Twitter cards or google amp Do their content have any geofencing by adding location in their content but I guess their are many factors
