I sang this for my High School talent show 30 years ago. I'd been playing for about 6 months and still had the nerve to do it solo acoustic. Everybody else was doing Nirvana songs, and there I was pretending like I could do Neil justice. I hit the Bm chord wrong every time, but I still felt like I was nailing it. I'd probably listened to Live Rust and After the Goldrush so many times by that point, those songs were eternal to me. I should've been sending Neil Father's Day cards back then. His songs meant everything to me.
