@@60fpsplanet Coming from Ireland it must be an islander thing, Hawalli has Victor Wooten. Arguably one of the best ever and were would we be without a ukulele. Irish know a few instruments with our cetlic history written in jigg's and arn't as strict as Japanese yet they too got heritage match our very own bouns also that both got their own thing and do it really well.... together they are not a competition... Hawali players play for fun... yet they end up with the greats. Continent players go by text book until the next big thing comes out.... sure you can say that about the islanders. But we don't need to search for fresh talent as they are easier to spot. I'd rather quality over quantity Anything and everything consistently happens. salience is the canvas.

Japan has so many all female band that actually legit. I think I've seen a lot of animes that feature high school girls playing music so it seems like Japanese girl or teenager tend to get into music more than any other countries with well-known pop culture.

The reason is that from the elementary school, the music class is compulsory (a few times a week). When the kids go to high school, the music is not compulsory but then the students are encouraged to join after school social club activities and many girls join the music clubs (as most boys join the sport clubs) - for real, it's just like the anime you may have seen. So, you have a plethora of females that had music background who then go on to pursue music after high school. Yes, it's due to that Japan has a great number of female modern instrumentalists. Unlike Korea where the music is something that families themselves have to support the kids to have music lessons (they do have high schools that specialize in music though). I don't know if one is better than the other as both countries have world class classical musicians. What is different is that even though Pop genre is big in both countries, it dominates Korean music scene whereas in Japan, you can make a living as a rock band. You could not do that in Korea.
@MalumnikaKir4o6 ай бұрын
@@fastskipper777the Japanese way does seem better, imo. There is a massive caveat, though… the education system must be good and have the proper resources for music education! Not many countries are on Japan’s level and Nek! is just the latest example in a long and brilliant line! Also, check out Rolling Quartz from Korea.
