I thought somehow, I was the only black girl that was in this deep with this franchise. Ya'll are my family now, chile! 😅❤

the black cast members look fabulous, dress better and are more interesting. Loved the art pieces. The other three are kinda embarrassing. i do love the wallpaper in every amazing set. The lighting is not great.They wrote a show that makes middle age look ridiculous.Just sayin' but i only know what i saw.

What about Prof. Nyia husband wardrobe?? He is dressed like De La Soul in every episode. They can give him some jeans or a button up every now and then.

It’s too bad Samantha isn’t here. She partly left Smith Jared because she was afraid she might cheat on him. She had so much respect for Smith and herself. She would have chewed Miranda out.
@writerpb2 жыл бұрын
Good point. She started eating to stop herself from cheating. And here’s Miranda, who once told Steve “you broke us” for his infidelity, feeling no apparent guilt over falling in love with someone outside of her marriage.
@AlexiaM2 жыл бұрын
I soooo agree Miranda has never respected Steve and I loved that they showed him washing his hands before being intimate with her because to me that is so caring and thoughtful but Miranda was annoyed but like girl no one is trying to get a yeast infection or a UTI. Go Steve 🙌🏼

You hit the nail on the head in saying Miranda is not about this marriage and kids life and she never has been. This embarrassing thirst for Che and affair has nothing to do with being bored with Steve, it has to do with her chafing against the life she deep down never really wanted. She's subconsciously looking to blow up this life. Love the reviews, you ladies are wonderful! 😊

Miranda gave Steve hell for sleeping with someone and lying about it. She told him, “You broke us.” Now she’s fine with infidelity… And it’s not just sex, she’s in love with Che. To me; this isn’t consistent with her character. I am disappointed in this storyline. Whoever is charting Miranda’s course, this - and the permissiveness with Brady and his girlfriend- isn’t who we know her to be. If she had some dramatic change in her character that should be telegraphed to us somehow. As it is, it just seems sloppy and forced.
@Nicole01312 жыл бұрын
I completely agree! At the root of Miranda and Steve is friendship and while I get they’ve been married for a while, the way she’s going about things is uncharacteristic and just bad writing. I was so irked by her.
@writerpb2 жыл бұрын
@@Nicole0131 I feel like this show doesn’t have the attention to detail and consistency that the original series did. They are giving poor Steve such short shrift, making him a doddering old fool which isn’t who he is. Even with age and hearing loss I don’t think he’s going to become such a person. But if seems like they’re portraying him that way to make it more understandable (and forgivable?) for Miranda to cheat on him. And that’s just not how I view their marriage or marriage in general. She’s being so disrespectful to him and to their union.
@Nicole01312 жыл бұрын
@@writerpb We are on the same page! At the market she seemed so embarrassed by him. I just hope that next season they are more deliberate about these beloved characters. This is sloppy, to me.

@@Nicole0131 sloppy is exactly the right word. If they come back for another season they have a lot of “wrongs” to set right.

Here's what I want to see: 1. Miranda decides to fully pursue Che. 2. Che fully rejects Miranda. 3. Steve finds out, leaves Miranda, and files for divorce. She deserves to be lonely

I strongly disagree on Charlotte refusing to apologize. Your spouse and marriage is not a sparring arena, your marriage is the one place you can be vulnerable. If you hurt one another you acknowledge it and apologize, he didn't have to be physically hurt.. it's just consideration, love and how you make a person feel. As someone who's married myself its the small and big things that add up over the years. Lack of support, disrespect and inconsideration is damaging to relationships on both parties. Harry has uplifted and supported his wife in all for attics, it wouldn't have hurt to return the sentiment. Don't take outside factors and noise out on your spouse, it was more important to prove a point than comfort her husband

Team Steve 🤚 all the way! The reality for some relationships is that sometimes our partner are what we need vs. what we want. Steve brought balance to Miranda's life in the early years. Steve forced Miranda to slow down (just a bit) and appreciate life and be more intentional about nurturing her relationships.
