hearing this song at true blood, made me feel bittersweet, giving goodbye to your first love, and enjoy the new one, it was just perffect with bill looking far away and giving up on sookie, and than sookie embracing the new love with eric

I think it's more like being "tired" of finding in-genuine love. It takes too much out of her to go through the pain of it so often and it makes her feel empty. She wants to be the moon so she can be seen by the person that is looking for her, so they can recognize her, because they feel the same way.
