I actually do have a theory about that 👀 If the golden duo theory is true, then this other theory can work. The logbook. Mike owns the book while Evan and Cassidy posses it together. Cassidy makes questions for both Evan and Michael (through faded texts). Michael replies writing using a red pen. Evan replies changing some sentences on night 4 and 5 last pages. On a page about "recent dream" Cassidy asks to Mike "Do you have dreams?" and Mike responds drawing a Nightmare Fredbear/ Nightmare (we dk if it is N. Fredbear or Nightmare since it is not colored lmao.) So that's strange isn't it? This means that we played AT LEAST the N. Fredbear and Nightmare nights as Michael and not Evan. So this is what a friend of mine and I thought. We believe that in fnaf 4 we play most of the nights as EVAN and that we play the Fredbear night and Nightmare night as MICHAEL. The Evan ones are of course hallucinations, as we know thanks to fnaf SL's cameras. Michael's, instead, are nightmares (which he as during fnaf 1 since Cassidy asked for recent dream and Mike has the logbook during fnaf 1.) Why does Michael have nightmares? We thought those nightmares are actually connected to Cassidy and Evan (since Cassidy DID ask about them) . Evan saw Michael come back and hr decided to take a revenge on him, take him feel the way he felt. So, with Cassidy's help, he made Mike have nightmares where both Evan and Cassidy tormented him. Evan as Nightmare Fredbear and Cassidy as Nightmare. ✨ So yeah lmao that's all~ if you like this kind of theories, you can find more on the Community section on my channel ✨💜

I have seen theories that Evan is “the one you shouldn’t have killed” and it honestly makes sense. We know that “the one you shouldn’t have killed” is male because Chica calls them “he,” and that his soul resides in the golden Freddy suit. He also has a hatred for William Afton, being the one to trap him in ultimate custom night. Another thing is that the nightmares are present, so he would have to know about them. He would also have to have been killed by William. Cassidy would fit this description perfectly if it weren’t for two details. Cassidy is female, and she doesn’t know about the nightmares. “the one you shouldn’t have killed” is male, and knows about the nightmares . So the only other souls are Michael and Evan(Not Michael Afton, the other Michael from the book series. He also resides in golden Freddy) Michael doesn’t fit either, as he is to kind and/or naive to do that to Afton, and doesn’t know about the nightmares. The only one left is Evan. Evan is male, resides in golden Freddy, and probably has pent up rage at the other Aftons. Also, William would have been the one to pull the plug on Evan, effectively Afton being the one to kill him. Finally, the only ones who knew about the nightmares were Evan and Michael. It couldn’t be Michael, so it could only be Evan. That is the evidence I’ve seen, and it puts together a compelling theory.

Okeoke so- You are free to believe whatever you want, but there is why I think that Cassidy is "The one you shouldn't have killed"- About the UCN, Evan couldn't be the one you shouldn't have killed because he was not killed by William. I know, the animatronics refer to her using he/him pronouns, but I'd like to remind yah that the same thing happened with Charlotte in fnaf 2. In the minigame "Give the cake to the children" there is a voice in the background spelling the sentence "save HIM" referring to Charlotte which is a girl. It's funny how both these girls are the only characters who end up possessing an Animatronic of their opposite gender and how they are referred using he/him pronouns. Evan couldn't be the one you shouldn't have killed because he is not a vengeful spirit and he was killed by Michael. For the Nightmares, I'm gonna explain to you a theory I made up with a friend of mine. This is based on the Golden duo theory and the Logbook. If you didn't know that yet the logbook is owned by three people: Michael who is alive and writes everything im red pen, Cassidy who is a ghost and communicates through faded tests, and then there is Evan another ghost who communicates changing some sentences in the book to respond to Cassidy's questions. For an example pag 59 Cassidy asks "What do you see" and Evan answered in pag 109 with "I can't see". Another example) witch confirms that the second spirit is Evan) Cassidy asks at pag. 103 "The party was for you" Evan answered saying "It was for me". The only birthday party we are aware of was Evan's, so Cassidy was clearly not asking it to Mike or saying it to herself. But there is one question made by Cassidy which looks like it was for Evan, but Mike is the one responding. Cassidy pag. 41 asks "Do you have dreams?" and this time the person answering is Mike who responds with a drawing of Nightmare/Nightmare Fredbear. This thing alone confirms that Cassidy knows about the nightmares (since she in the one who asked in the first place), but how? You see the fact that Cassidy asked if Mike was having dreams NOW (she said "Do you have dreams" not "DID you have dreams?") means thaf Mike is experiencing something similar to Fnaf 4 during Fnaf 1( he had the logbook during fnaf 1). Sister location confirmed that the fnaf 4 bedroom existed and that it was used in 1983, which is not Mike's case. We believe that we play as both Evan and Mike in fnaf 4. We play as Mike only during the nights were Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear are present. Mike's (as said in the logbook) are dreams, when instead Evan's are not (as confirmed in SL). How did Mike have these nightmares during fnaf 1 and how does Cassidy know about them? You see, Michael could met Golden Freddy while working at the fnaf 1 location and Evan (wanting to make Michael feel what he felt/ wanting to make Mike understand that he is in the suit) made Mike have nightmares. If we follow the Golden Duo theory, this means that Cassidy knows about the nightmares too and that she could also helped Evan with them. In fact Mike dreams about not one but two bears, which represents Evan (Nightmare Fredbear) and Cassidy (Nightmare). Going back to "The one you shouldn't have killed", we have some clues also in the Fazbear Frights serie. In those books there are two characters which are very similar to Evan and Cassidy. We have Jake, which is a nice kid died because of a brain tumor in an hospital bed. And we have Andrew, a kid killed by a man. Jake is like Evan, they are both nice kids who died because of something doing with their brains (The bite for Evan ans the tumor for Jake). Andrew, in the other hand, is angry and vengeful. In fact he describes to us how he connected his soul to his killed to make sure that he couldn't be able to die. Sounds familiar? Andrew is acting like the One you shouldn't have killed for UCN, but how do we know that he is representing Cassidy? You see, Andrew as curly black hair, which alone is not a very important clue until you search for the meaning behind the name "Cassidy". You can search it yourself, the name Cassidy means "Curly-haired". This connects Andrew to Cassidy. Well this why I think that Cassidy is the one you shouldn't have killed, have a nice day💜

Can anything possessed feel something or just souls possessing corpses? We know possession does not prevent a certain amount of necrosis but does stop it from completely decomposing or else by the time Pizza sim rolls around Michael and William would be skeletons anyway my point is does it suspend the decomposition just before he loses his 5 senses or just before he loses his ability to hear talk and see or does remnant give souls all their senses even tho the body they are possessing doesn't have the ability to provide the five senses?

I love how you portrayed them to be both mad at what happened to them. The level of detail you put into the character designs, their movements and expressions, the lighting and shadows, EVERYTHING is amazing. now that i think about it, both CC and Cassidy being Vengeful would make more sense, Cassidy is important yes but CC also had a really rough life AND death, he may have been dormant at first though, he died feeling terror after all but Cassidy appearing most likely woke something in him. The thing about the quiet and scared kids is that, when they snap, they can be terrifying, with Cassidy being so aggressive, CC could've been stirred as well. it's why they're more ghostly/powerful (able to teleport or at least move around unseen and unheard until wanted to be) they're working together, getting revenge on Michael or William

I kinda agree so I subscribe to the theory that things like golden Freddy's appearances, shadow Freddy and bonnie and the entirety of fnaf 4 are just CC trolling Michael with guilt, as a way to sorta test out Cassidy's ability to put people in nightmares like she does to William in ultimate custom night, but mike is CC's brother and '83 was an accident so he gets off a little easy and just gets some guilt trips and nightmares rather than being sent to hell like their father, after Michael is sufficiently spooked CC is free to move on in happiest day

this just really makes me want an au where everyone's simply kinda aware of the children inhabiting the animatronics and everyone just kinda cool with it, presumably the differences would be that the ghost are able to physically appear on their own and are perfectly sentient and self aware unlike the games where they seems to usually lose most of their memories and become as Charlie puts it "like animals" and we hardly see any ghost physically appear besides maybe fnaf 3 when they're chasing William, in any case we all know fazbear entertainment would capitalize on that shit the second they learned about it, also a parody of the song with the altered lyrics would be a banger

I like to think that Mike asked someone if that prank he pulled would be safe and he said they would have. In a game theory with Austin it was revealed that the only way those could have killed Evan was if they were made to kill. And the person Mike asked could be non other than his father William who works there. I wouldn't put it past William to kill his own son and blame it on the other one.
