I personally like the nektar because of its so called “fully weighted full length” tyoe of keys. But it totaly depends on your preference the included softwares that comes with them and price.

Ce clavier est vraiment TOP !! Léger, alimentation par la prise USB (pas d'alimentation séparée, donc un seul fil), touches format piano, les fonctions de base à portée de main, transposition hyper facile, et toutes les connexions nécessaires pour les pédales ! Pour moi, le maître achat ! J'ai un peu tâtonné avec d'autres claviers-maîtres, mais je garde celui-ci ! Jamais de ratés ! Mérite d'être plus connu ! Je fais du Home-Studio depuis 1983.

Merci pour les infos ! J'ai actuellement un M Audio Axiom 49 MK2 depuis qqs années et j'ai envie de changer pour quelque chose de plus minimaliste et surtout un clavier avec des touches silencieuses. Les touches du Axiom 49 font un boucan d'enfer (clack click clack...) et c'est très genant pour se concentrer sur la musique je trouve. Le Nectar a t-il des touches silencieuses ? Merci.

Say, how can I use this to control the record button in ableton live? I tried mapping it but it makes me hold the record button down to keep recording cause its not toggle.

Hi, i tried it with my ableton lite version (am a logic user primarily) but it works for me. One thing could be a setting on ableton where the record button might be set to “hold” instead of trigger/toggle.

No Software needed.. connect directly to your PC/laptop via the provided USB cable and your DAW should pick it up. No need to connect to audio interface too.

Tried it with Ableton live lite, it didn’t pose any problem.

I am planning to get a midi keyboard. I am confused between Arturia minilab 3, Nektar GX49 & M-Audio Keystation 49. Which one should I get? Will I miss Faders/Knobs/Drumpads on Nektar and M-Audio because I want more keys.

Knobs and faders are interesting for a week. Post that you use the DAW to make adjustments. Go with the keyboard with more keys because real estate is important and also look at your budget. Im happy with nektar. No complains.

I didn’t feel it, but then again its subjective. However, it does give the feeling of a full sized, fully weighted piano keys..minus the hardness..so i would say its somewhere on between and its good it feels that way, IMO.

There are patch change buttons marked in blue. You will have to press shift to use them.

Unfortunately its not as far as i know and their website also states other OS apart from android. iOS is compatible though!
