no need to cut. just select the skylight window and place it to the roof.

Hello, how are you?? I have a doubt about the ground I was doing a project but the I wanted to do different kind to grounds for each area for example the kitchen floor was orange and the bathroom was blue, but. I couldn't all the ground turn only one color. Help me please. Thanks.

just take the skylight window from aperture tab, out it in ur roof, and u get it.
